Your front end looks like glued to the groud. Better than any VAG product. Can you share more details about the setup how to achieve it on mqb? Driving great! You are so efficient, dont take even a meter extra where you dont need to. Amazing
Hi. Set up is defiantly key and not necessarily expensive parts The suspension is yellow speed racing Some upgraded bushes and rear toe links Verkline lower arms. The car runs quite a lot of camber and rear toe out
@@jamietonksracing7367 thank you for you reply. I drive Cupra 280 but have issues with front end on throttle on track. 350 HP so not so much power I run front 2°20min camber, one degree extra caster and rear 1°20min camber, toe close to zero. From hw I run stock DCC shocks with eibach springs, white line rear ARB set to hard, front camber and caster plate and some polyurethane bushings but stock replacement
I am planing to go here with my vrs, have you been driving a lot on the track to get to this lvl? Ive only ever been driving on a steering wheel on ps5😂. You think the skill can be transfared from simulator to real life ? Any advice would be nice as planing to go this year
Thank you for posting the upgrades! How was the oil temperature at the end? Was this a manual or DSG? Do you think I can fit the same Area Motorsport suspension package on my VRS230 without breaking my back? I need more corner power. It's my daily car.
Hi. The car is a dsg around 370hp Oil temps are a problem unless you have a larger capacity oil cooler I do however still struggle with water temperatures and have to part throttle from Bergwerk to Mutkurve of the ambient temperature is high. The suspension package is fine for the the road. No problem at all
Nice driving right off the bat, It's pretty nippy, Years ago I used to go max power with a dude in a mitsubishi evo, He thought he would race a white clio, F knows what it was but it smoked the evo, lol.... Yeah this clio blows bro.... I bet its well fun to drive, Less effort chucking it info corners equals more fun, lol.... I can only dream of doing this for real, Tho I'm pretty good on the Nordshliefe in Assetto Corsa, Lol.... Sim racing is more than a game for me, But yeah I would love to have a blast at this, Got be a bucket list achievement lol.... You pretty fast bro.....
My biggest regret is selling my 172 after all the money I spent on it. That said, after checking the DVLA, someone else has appreciated the work I put into it. Next step; 182. Great video.
Brilliant driving mate. I was just thinking what a great job you were doing sitting behind the two in front and adding to their pressure and you could see they were gonna tangle. I was really pleased for you when the guy in front locked a wheel shortly after....you drove the perfect race mate. I was only watching to view the track in real life after doing a few laps in Assetto Corsa 😃 Thanks for the link to the televised coverage too, was nice to see what was happening in your exhaust fumes thereafter.
Thanks. It was a great weekend for us. Anglesey just seems to destroy your tyres so I presumed it would be a case of who had the better ones at the end of the race and it worked in my favour. Thanks for your comment
Great few laps, tidy lines through the corners and you're clearly confident with the car on the circuit. A few "hold ups" but then, that's track days for you! Please, please, please develop heel/toe....your braking phase will be so much more controlled.
Thanks for your comments. It was just a chilled out track day. Nothing to exciting. This is when I’m pushing a little harder ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o62q0TQBtjY.html
Funny just watched this Hyundai get beat by a Golf gti, Focus st and a merc A35 but with a tiny bit of research it appears the HYUNDAI i30 N is quicker than them all 🤔🤔 with a proper driver !!
The thing is that those others got better Names to them, apparently. ST almost always wins in GB, Golf GTI always wins in Germany (as long as its the super expensive Clubsport) and so on...
Hi Used a wide range of tyres over the years. The MRF’s are a great tyre for the money and well rated on the club endurance series over the uk. Pressures. Cold depends on use but I try to run around 32psi hot
Hiya. Best I got down to in the end was 1:58. I personally think the MRF is a better tyre however I’d say performance is similar but the MRF take a lap or 1 extra to get to temp but say in range for longer.
