did what I was supposed to do-- my responsibility-- aint about moving up in the world-- to what? be like joe fucking biden... i dont give a shit about being like joe biden-- i give a fuck about standing up for the people im supposed to stand up for.. and i didnt do that to best of my ability--and that breaks my fucking heart
When I was younger I loved them, but then I grew up, started playing electric guitar, discovered legendary bands and artist and now it makes me sad to notice that Wayne's solos are basic and they don't even sound good. The only one that I still like is Smoke and Mirrors.
He graduated from Berklee, it's my theory he chooses to make the solos basic to make them more accessible, and he does so when composing all of their music
@@marly1017 I know that he also studied jazz but I would never tell from his playing. Also it's not a matter of accessibility, I don't care if a solo is hard, complex or basic and commercial, as long as it sounds good but my man right here can't even do a proper bend. Usually guitarists in pop bands are very good musicians who just hold back for accessibility choices and that's the case of Colpday, whose guitarist is not a showoff guy but he definitely knows what he's doing. I can't wrap my head around how a guitarst in such a big band like imagine dragons can be so un-musical
@@apguitar8075 listen I would have agreed with you, but I went to their show yesterday with some of my non guitarist friends, they both thought he was amazing, I don't love his playing but it absolutely does its job
