Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy page, Eric Clapton, John petrucci, Steve Vai? None of those ring a bell? Better guitarists both Technically and emotionally. Sorry to bust your dreams
I love him. My God, guitar solos just make me freaking out. Electric guitar is my favorite instrument, along with drums. I wanna learn play these so bad but now I deal with keyboard, 'cause it's probably the easiest instrument to learn by self. Anyway I need to try guitar and drums someday! 🤩 lol, idk why I just wrote this, it's off-topic.
Wayne's guitar skills are just killing me😍 How can anyone be so talented? His children and wife must be really proud of him Edit: jeez chill guys I know there are a lot of other great guitarists, plus I wrote this before discovering classic rock (@ the people in the comments)
Many people are talented to play a guitar for example Jimmy Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clampton, David Gilmour and many others. Wayne is very good but not the best
@@mysterymeat1216 I don't really think so. Most of what he does in this video is rather basic. And the way he plays isn't that special either. It makes me think of Slash, but without the variation.
When I was younger I loved them, but then I grew up, started playing electric guitar, discovered legendary bands and artist and now it makes me sad to notice that Wayne's solos are basic and they don't even sound good. The only one that I still like is Smoke and Mirrors.
He graduated from Berklee, it's my theory he chooses to make the solos basic to make them more accessible, and he does so when composing all of their music
@@marly1017 I know that he also studied jazz but I would never tell from his playing. Also it's not a matter of accessibility, I don't care if a solo is hard, complex or basic and commercial, as long as it sounds good but my man right here can't even do a proper bend. Usually guitarists in pop bands are very good musicians who just hold back for accessibility choices and that's the case of Colpday, whose guitarist is not a showoff guy but he definitely knows what he's doing. I can't wrap my head around how a guitarst in such a big band like imagine dragons can be so un-musical
@@apguitar8075 listen I would have agreed with you, but I went to their show yesterday with some of my non guitarist friends, they both thought he was amazing, I don't love his playing but it absolutely does its job
I love how everyone is saying hes so good at soloing when these are very badic beginner solos with very little skill, I used to really like them but I got tired of such basic music.
+Blank Canvas Magic Hey. I did not say that ALL solos are long. Although I can not for a concert, but I've watched enough concerts. But you seem to be a real Firebreather. Greetings to you 😊🙋 . Oh and I'm so sorry (😄) for my english. It's terrible 😊
Wayne Sermon can play anything from those guitarists. Just because he plays these songs, that doesn't mean his skills are limited to just these songs. They did a cover of Rock You Like A Hurricane and did everything right. Get your head out of your ass
@@lucasgoncalves7774 can't believe i'm getting replies on a two year old comment lmao. dw i've gotten much deeper into guitar and music since then and i can name like a billion guitarists better than wayne sermon now :p rory gallagher, davy knowles, madison cunningham, satch, the list goes on
Raven. As a guy who’s been playing guitar for 3 years. I can tell you these solos aren’t that hard and anybody who’s never touched a guitar will find it “SO HARD!”
