I have a small message board where a few friends gather, and I'd like it to become larger so here is the URL! :) : deathbyposting.proboards.com/index.cgi
1:10 (Wolf growling) Rose: AAAAAH! Doctor: Run for your life,Rose! (Wolf howling) Doctor: Doctor Who Werewolf and other action figures! ???: From Character!
Tell you what, this really goes to show the difference in quality/popularity of Doctor who these days. I found a box the other day in the garage full of loads of these Doctor who figures that i collected as a kid. They literally seemed to make a figure of every single character that you saw in the show, as well as having tv adverts for these figures. But now, you'd be lucky if they did figures of just the Doctor and the companions. And keep dreaming if you think they would do TV adverts for them. But then again, maybe that will change with the 15th Doctor. It would be great if Doctor who became this popular again.
Tom Baker, Elisabeth Sladen, and Ian Marter ... The Doctor Who "Dream Team!" ❤️ We will NEVER see the likes of them again! So sad that Ian is no longer with us, and like many fans, I was devastated when our beloved "Sarah Jane" died! 😭❤️
The truth when Tom relays that many unhappy couples stay together simply because they can’t afford to separate. Then, they are relegated to spend the remainder of their lives refining how they torture each other - chills.
New Jersey Network! This was my station for _Doctor Who_ throughout junior high and high school, and the premier network for _Doctor Who_ in the United States. They did more to promote the show in the US than any other channel in the country. I've always been a bit envious of Eric Luskin for the number of _Doctor Who_ celebrities he had the privilege of meeting. He and a crew even traveled to England to produce a documentary on the making of the Sylvester McCoy story "The Silver Nemesis".
Seeing this makes me sad, knowing that this might wind up happening to a few more Doctors in the near future, and I probably won't be ready for it. R.I.P. Jon Pertwee
I love this clip of John cleese tom baker John cleese is one of my favourite actors and I love everything he has been in where thats movie and tv shows
David Bowie’s “Changes” really fits here! If you watched Classic Doctor Who on PBS stations in the 80s, Tom Baker turned into Peter Davison as soon as you got used to Tom!

I still remember watching these. The remastered DVDs that have been VidFIREd are great but there was a charm to the unrestored copies of the dusty old 16mm telerecordings the ABC showed on this run.
