We stay open year around. We don’t get any weekend campers through the winter but we will keep long term campers who might be in the area working as a traveling nurse or contractor. We just require that they put skirting around their RV and that they heat using LP gas and not just use our electric for heat.
I can tell a man designed everything. There really needs more storage in the kitchen and bathrooms. It's so hard to put everything up where you don't have storage
Awesome job on the trailer remodel, but I have to wonder about the math here. You put in $20,000 and sold it for $29,000, giving you a $9,000 profit. Assuming you spent around 200 hours on the project (which, by the way, is roughly 4 full work weeks), that breaks down to about $45 per hour of labor if there were no additional expenses. ... might not want to quit your day job just yet! Was it really that little time? If it took longer, the hourly rate would be even lower. Just curious-wouldn’t it have been more profitable to invest that time and effort into something like building a stick-built house on a prepared site instead? Seems like it could offer better returns for all the work involved. Thanks for sharing the project though-really impressive work!
Sadly, for lot rent, mobile home park owners can charge whatever they want. There is no cap in place from the state, county, city nor township. It's ridiculous when a lot rent is as high as a mortgage payment or more.
Check it out with council. The town should have told them about this problem. Usually they will tell the new building owners they cannot build until they ensure this problem does not occur.
Looks nice but it wouldn't fool me. I know smoke and mirrors when i see it. You can "rehab" this crap its still crap to its core and its sad people do this just to sell to foolish desperate people for a profit. I would never live in a match box. Nice job but its still crap bud.
My second one of these just died, both machines quit after just over one season. Even though I live one block from Home depot they say I have to get it to a warranty depot over 100km away. Not impressed.
I would like to know where you live and you can rent out for 750/mthly you got it going on when it comes to properties however this is a mobile home how you got it for you never know but that's great I wish I could do that what about lot rent do you charge for that as well? I think it's really awesome on these prices because I know you're making their money back like I've been in commercial and residential construction my entire life so I know definitely with all the I've seen you guys do that's pretty awesome
I have to ask out of all of your commercial properties such as the campground or mainly for these storage units. Then shed to tiny homes air bnb to pay for your personal rv. Which did you start with obviously making more and MORE $ to sink in the xtra smart places campground tiny home community building your own and fhey pay more than a 45%turnb around on eanof these after the renos on each type of property and business ventures. Also, wouldn't you qualify for SBA *GRANTS & NON REPAYABLE LOANS?and u are (possible to use the SBA FOR EACH BUSINESS VENTURE YOU BEGIN TO START. I WOULD LOVE TO RECEIVE A FREE MOBILE HOME HAPPY TO RENO IT AND DO IT FOR A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE AT THE CAMPGROUNDS WE KNOW THE LOT RENT IS DEFINITELY A HUGE AMOUNT ON TOP OF PUTTING IN YOUR OWN LAND AND SLOWLY PURCHASING THEMOR IDK SEEMS LIKE YOUR BUSINESS IS AMAZING. I WOULD GLADLY BY ONE FOR 5-7500$ AS OTHERE HAVE SAID!!
I'm ify about long term Renter's because if California's squatter laws. They have alot of rights here n California and it becomes an eviction to get people out if they've been residing for so many days. California consider them a residence after so many days
Thank you for sharing- your renovation turned out great- do hope the bugs were sprayed out as they are extremely awful and expensive to deal with for tenants
Flooding issues are never fun as it can turn into rot & mold & electrical issues if not remedied quickly- ugh! Definitely would want a temporary sandbag barrier
Are you able to do trades of labor for the use of some of your assets such as a free rv spots or mobile home space & use of a mobile home at no charge- it means someone gets rent free living in trade for hours of work for you- you just want to make sure it is a fair trade
Your videos are useful as there is a housing crunch in the US- anyone helping with ideas for how to help people get affordable housing is useful- people use storage when they are in between homes- it is helpful to know the ins & outs of both
Great mower ive had mine little over year also tthe 2 batteries isca lifesaver... P.S. it mulches much better with out side shute open keep it closed works muh better. Otherwise very thorough re viiew.
You should probably leave the retention pond, it is there to slow the flow of water off your property. If you remove it the ditch could overflow and water would go over the road
