Hi Leslie I actually wore foundation this week 😂 and I chose the Givenchy prisme libre glow version. It’s a really pretty foundation for drier skin. I applied it with a sponge for slightly lighter coverage (as I have been using a tinted moisturiser for weeks 😂), but I enjoyed it. I hadn’t worn it for a while but it is one of my favourites. I also played with actual powder eyeshadow 😂 and not just using a couple of cream shades. I used a Viseart palette in cool mattes and topped it with the Catrice highlighter from their Summer collection (it’s a duochrome sparkly highlighter). I would never wear the highlighter on my face at 52, but it makes a really pretty eyeshadow as a topper. Glossier cloud paint blush and UD backtalk lipstick (which is an old favourite). I wanted a slightly more “done” look this week. Best wishes x
I have had the Cocoa Bold lipstick in Chocolate Chip and repurchased a couple times because the color/formula is so good; I'll probably get another for this coming Fall/Winter season.

It does amuse me that makeup companies are calling liquid or cream highlighters “skin enhancers” now. They’re still highlighters, but they’ve found a new way to market them to make people think it’s something new. So yes you can definitely use it on top of your makeup like a normal highlighter. And mix it in with foundation or even under your foundation too. I think the only difference will be how shimmery they are. I think the skin enhancer highlighters are just more similar to highlighters that have a more subtle sheen with tiny shimmer particles, in contrast to highlighters that are a little more noticeable and glittery. Which I do tend to prefer the less shimmery now, since I’m in my 40s. I just think the more natural looking highlighters look better on me. Which btw, I have the Hourglass cream highlighter and adore it, but I also have the Maybelleine highlighter stick , and I end up reaching for it more!! I love it so freaking much. I assume it’s still on the market?? It think it’s the Master strobe or something like that. But I just can’t get over how glowy and smooth (yet intense) it makes my cheek look. I have a lot of highlighters, but it’s probably my favorite. The Charlotte Tilbury liquid one in the tube is up there too!! 😊

I have so much fun doing my makeup. I look forward to it every morning, but I LOATHE doing my brows! I save it as the last step. Sometimes it takes me forever to work on them and they'll come out too dark or too big.😒 Love your videos BTW Leslie!😊

Yeah, that definitely helps me with transfer on my brow bone! On my lower lashline, especially towards the outside of my eyes... I seem to always get at least a tiny bit of transfer, no matter what I do. I think it might just be something that happens 🤷🏼♀️😅
Hi Leslie another pretty look. I’m done with Essence mascaras as they smudge everywhere on me (even the waterproof lash princess🤦♀️). They look great for about half an hour and then it’s downhill all the way. They’re far from the only culprits, but they are some of the worst in my experience. To be fair I have extremely dry skin so a lot of my products are quite emollient, but it’s not a good look 😂. I’m using either waterproof or tubing mascara instead with much better results for me. The rest I haven’t tried tbh. I don’t need new tinted moisturiser (which is what this looks like), I have many shades of shadow stick, I don’t use bronzer or contour, I don’t need another peachy/pink liquid blush or another lip oil. I basically don’t have the need to buy that much new makeup tbh. I’m really trying to be selective about what I buy to just buy things I know I will use a ton. I’m not as excited about just buying new things to try just now and instead buy only what makes me go “ooohhh I really love the look of that and really really want it”. I have a couple of things on my wishlist to buy over the next couple of months, but I’m going on a trip in August and am keeping money for that plus I need to replenish some skincare etc. best wishes x

I’ve mostly stopped wearing my powder highlighters as highlighters, but I have several I used to love. I should start using them on my lids for some great shimmer. Good idea!
Hi Leslie I’m still loving lightweight makeup 😂. Just Summer makeup with a tinted moisturiser, cream or liquid blush, a simple eye and a gloss or tinted balm on the lips 👄. The weather isn’t amazing in Scotland but I am making the most of it and wearing my Summer clothes with the lightweight makeup. Best wishes x
Really enjoyed Funny Story as well! Emily Henry books are always great - I always get frustrated with the characters - like, just tell him! Or whatever…lol! But they always have a pretty satisfying ending.
I used up my laneige lip mask I love that stuff. It takes me almost 2 to go through one. Going to use up some chapsticks first before picking up another one 😊❤️💄
Hi Leslie I keep track of my empties each month to see what I genuinely get through in a decent amount of time. It helps me to not overbuy as much as I am much more aware how long items take to use up completely. This month so far I have finished: Zelens vitamin E serum - a very hydrating serum but not worth the high price tag. I bought mine in TKMAXX and for a more reasonable price btw. I do like it but I like more affordable options just as much. Boots eczema treatment- a much repurchased item for my rosacea and eczema prone skin Pacifica vegan ceramide serum - I liked it fine, but it didn’t wow me Avene antirougours cleansing milk - this has been repurchased many times. It works as a one step lazy cleanser when my skin is upset with me (it needs an eye makeup remover for waterproof mascara btw) Bioderma biphase eye makeup remover - this is a holy grail for removing waterproof mascara and I repurchase this over and over (it’s better than the Lancome and much more affordable here in the UK) Palmers floral conditioner - this was a discontinued item that I finally used up. I have coarse curly hair and Palmers makes affordable conditioner with good slip for detangling There you go my July empties so far. Best wishes x

I haven't! I bet she'd be camera shy, maybe 😊 But some of her top favorite brands would be: SKINN (from HSN) for skincare and makeup, IT Cosmetics for makeup, and Laura Geller for makeup. And she's also loved the Serious Skincare line for years too. She LOVES her skincare and layers a lot of things!

I’m picking up those Catrice lippies to keep at work and in my purse…something to just pop on real quick~no fuss👍The Fenty highlighter looks great as well~but I picked up the Catrice Space Glam holographic highlighter and I use just a very little to dot on my cheeks for a subtle “pow”🌟✨Keep up the great content on your channel~so fun, no drama and very real🌸🌼👱🏼♀️
Great video! The Dollar Tree sells an LA colors bronzer like that in a rectangular packaging. Not sure if it's the identical color but it sounds and looks like what you're describing. I love mine for my fair cool skin tone In the summer. it's called bronzed beauty. The packaging is so slim and convenient and I can't believe it's a $1.25
