I’m an older person, but I really like some sparkle to bring light to certain places on my face, especially my deep set, somewhat hooded eyes. I don’t do well with glitters but need at least some real sheen. It’s a challenge to find just the tight degree of shine. I tried a GenSee liquid shadow this week and am really liking it.

There is something about a raspberry red blush. I bought Amused from Tarte last year and it's so pretty. I wear it more than I thought I would!

Hi Leslie I agree that a red or raspberry blush is a pretty look and I think it’s because it’s similar to how many people actually flush eg embarrassed or sunburned. I have an extremely cool undertone so a lot of colours look different on my skin (due to how the pigments in makeup are mixed to suit the majority of skin tones) and I get that look from Saie chilly. On me it’s very much a raspberry shade and similar to the colour I would have if I got some sun (Fitzpatrick one so always burn and back to white, hence why I spf and hide in the shade 😂). It is pretty as a blush shade on me though and looks very natural on the skin. I did actually use it this week as a compliment to a very neutral eye and brighter lip. I mostly used the Kiko water shadow (old formula which I like better) in the shade light taupe (it’s a favourite with major pan and they take forever to hit pan 😂). It can be used wet or dry and I used it with a cream shadow for a simple eye look. On the lips I wore a tinted balm in a red/berry shade. Skin was a skin tint from Ilia and a little concealer where needed for a light makeup look. Best wishes x
