I have this cd and it’s the best cd in my collection (disc one). Why? Because it’s obvious. No other composition meets the criteria to say it’s the best. A cross between GENESIS and Renaissance. Christina Booth defines the album and group but without the members of this band and the brilliant writers she would not exist. They can be defined as one unitary being beyond the world of transcendence and have defined a new universe of nirvana. Well done. However, it takes about 8 listens on ear buds early in the morning before getting out of bed and with complete concentration. Quintessentially marvellous. GBG NO EDITS.
Great job. I have to ask though with some sadness in my heart, "Are there no men nowaday that have range and can sing high or is every great singer of the seventies doomed yo be interpreted by a female singer. Not yo knock female singers, but a man singinging high has a vast array of tones and didtortion that a fenale cannot equal.
@@notfromamerica1617 yes, it’s amazing what they have done I so love Magenta when I asked that question a few weeks ago I didn’t know much about the band and through Rob Reeds association with artists like David Longdon and Big Big Train, I’m on an amazing journey working through all this beautiful music … I didn’t listen at first to this track and as I am typing, Christina has just started singing… wonderful Have you heard the rendition that David and Christina, Rob did with Steve Hacketts Spectral morning? If not check it out, it’s fabulous!!
Whoops ... is there any problem with trying to imitate the original? I just spent a week in COVID-19 isolation doing that exact thing! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qOVbm8ElWeM.html
