I’m always looking for the next adventure. “Live a good life or die trying” and in the process I’ll keep sharing some how to videos as well as some reviews on products and new places. Feel free to contact me if you would like for me to try one of your products. Jaythebarber10@gmail.com.
@@Shane.of.all.trades the best part about this particular light is that it’s so high up that any bugs would be kept away from you. I used it a few times already and I do see the bugs but there hovering above my set up.
Great video. I'm in between getting the Skotti grill or the Skotti Max. Trying to figure out if my cookset will work with Skotti or if I should use the Skotti Boxes. It would be good if you could make a video cooking on the grill and using the Skotti Boxes. For reference, it would be helpful if you could also use a small pan on the grill.
It looks great but, man I wish they can make the battery less expensive. It feels so wrong to pay more for the battery than for the a/c unit, great review though, I like it a lot
@@daviddelgado5954 thank you 🙏……yeaaaa, I looked up the battery after the video and it didn’t make sense but still the ac for the price is not bad if you have another source of power.
@@f-bomboverlanders4459 in part of my recording I hooked up to the generator to get an accurate reading on power ecoflow generator and never hit the record button. I can’t remember at this moment what it was but I don’t think it was high at all which makes sense because it’s only about 240 watts at full capacity
@@_rkayz687 I actually did in my last video “Overland Camping West Virginia “ but there will be many more give aways to come so keep watching cause it might be something better next time 😁
@@JoeHasGotToGo after I returned I suffered 3 days of misery from the insane itching because the sand flies ate me alive…..🤣. Still worth it though because of how nice it was.
Cool video Jay... I've heard of Hot Springs but have never been there! Btw, I'm really digging the inflatable tent and those Arepas look mighty tasty! Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
@@mikeseaman2545 thank you 🙏. At the very bottom of the video description I put the link for anyone that would be interested in checking out this place.
@@shannonswyatt I don’t think you would make this trail in the Honda. It’s pretty steep and even my buddies jeep got stuck. I believe this place is called darks skies mountain side
Me and Pat watches. He says wow look at those views. Great video so when are we going to have some of them Arepas made for us since we don't get those in PR. Looks yummiest. To bad we didn't the light but if we did we would donate to another lucky subscriber to your channel. Good video brother. When we gunna see that beautiful bronco get dirty in the mud LOL
I am really happy for winning the Alta light. Thanks Jay. The view from that campsite is awesome. Even though I really enjoy using my camper Now you’ve made have to build an overland camper to keep up with you. I will keep you updated on my progress.
@@type1dia first congrats on buying the table. I absolutely love mine and actually have a video coming out this Saturday showing me using it on a camping trip. So far there’s no rattling at all. I think it’s pretty well made and you should be very happy. Broaddict makes a great product for sure. If you’re happy with it and the video helped with your decision please consider subscribing and helping me grow my channel. Either way check out the video on Saturday and keep me posted on your install. Again, congrats and many blessings to you.
@@FindingJay I see that on the official website that you can only pre-order and it’s not ready until August. I just assumed that these were out now and available.
@@andreiter they were. I’m thinking they’ve been selling out and have to make more. I will say to stay on top of it. It has become by far my most valuable piece of equipment when I’m out on an adventure. I love this light.
Do you find the grill is too hot? Looks like it’s a bit hot. Even on low mine will blast whatever’s on there especially if it’s fatty like that burger and bacon.
@@exaggerbator it took me a while to learn it because the butane burns hotter than propane so now I keep mine at half the power I normally would with propane and it works great.
Trying to install this set up on my powerboost, but running into issues finding a good spot to mount the compressor on the frame rail. In the video it looks like they install it pretty far back, did they use anything different than what was included for mounting? Any chance you have a close up shot of where it was installed? Appreciate the help!
@@tekelizi hey, thanks for watching and the question. Everything that was used for the install was just what came in the box other than extra zipped ties and clamps for running the wire. I wish I could help with photos but unfortunately I sold the truck last month and I can’t take any pictures. What I can do is give you my friends number (Daniel) and he might be able to help since he did the actual work. www.google.com/search?q=davis+off+road&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari&dlnr=1&sei=wv2PZtCnD-Or5NoPk_212Aw#
Hey Jay i just purchased your(mine now) old powerboost from crossroads ford. I would like to know if you had any gear left for it i could get off your hands. Also love the truck would like to know if you had any tips or anything about to for me
@@ericblankenship2407 hey Eric, I’m happy for your purchase. I absolutely loved that truck and have taken the best care of it since day one so when I tell you got yourself a great truck I really mean it. As far as gear everything that has been shown on the videos has been sold separately but if there’s anything specific you’re looking for please feel free to let me know because I do have a lot of gear from my videos and may have something your looking for. Here is my email so that we can have a more private conversation (jaythebarber10@gmail.com)
@@perryrusso3764 thank you 🙏. I Ran the plug down to the front frame by the battery compartment so all I had to do is plug an extension cord streight and everything worked without any issues or visible cords.
