In this video we visit overland expo east to check out all the new gear as well as insane builds by some really amazing people. We also talk to some vendors to see what's new and what's upcoming in the market.
New fan, great video. Just picked up a 2014 Rubicon JKU, has a well done 4in+ rough country lift, recently upgrade with other accessories and 38's. EVO armor fully set up underneath front to back.. DV8, Chipped V-6 but 106k miles. Bought from a good dealer and former owner worked there so they gave me the break down to all of their upgrades. I'm a disabled Veteran who is tired of sitting at home alone so I'm getting back into overlanding. This is my 3rd wrangler, 2nd Rubi. Previous was an 06 TJ. did a lot of trails and overlanding in NH/Me area. Lived there 21 years, now in Kansas. Thanks for making the video. very informative.
First off thank you for your service. I to am a veteran that for similar reasons got into this hobby so I definitely get it. 2nd, that sounds like an amazing buy. Someone obviously put all the work and money into it so it saves you money and time already. And if he worked at that dealer it means he knew being in the business how important it is to have it done right. Congratulations on your purchase and coming back to the adventure life and thank you for the comment.
Thanks for showing me around the overland expo event in VA. Great stuff, beautiful atmosphere and people. Bet you got that additional battery from Devos for your lighting.
Thank you 🙏. I actually did think about the extra battery but decided not to get it because I already have the solar panels and the devos lanterns already last so long.
Are you referring to the one that self seals? I thought that it was an awesome idea but after I heard the price I actually needed to use one there and then 😂🤣😅
Is there a circuit of trade shows for these overlanding expos? I'd love to get involved if I could get a sponsor. I'm well-spoken and well trained in public speaking.
The overland expo is actually a trade show where many overland companies, groups, influencers and hobbies can meet up, learn and share ideas as well as purchase and sell your own merchandise as a vender. They travel to many states every year and keep growing in the process. You can definitely get sponsorship by going to events and meeting people as well as joining overland groups on social media platforms such as Facebook and getting your rig out there for people to see and enjoy. I love it and keep learning as I keep going but I’m having fun in the process. Just google overland expo to see there itinerary and where they’ll be next and when they’ll be coming to your state and you can even get involved on there webpage with many options like either just attending the show to even being part of it. Thank you 🙏 for the comment and hope I was able to answer your question.
Definitely some nice trailers. I think considering all the shortages on supplies now a days they are priced as expected but I agree that it would be nicer if the prices were a bit lower….😁
Ugh what talking about thunder box cool design and concept but plz $155 for a folding poo bucket extremely not necessary / bucket works ugh these gadgets getting out control
😂😅…..I have a collapsible toilet bucket that I paid $40 for on Amazon that was the same concept but to be honest I sat on there’s and it did feel a bit more comfortable.
