Interesting. I was told that my 5,500 sq ft expensive asphalt overlay (2") needed to cure for 9 months to a year before considering any form of sealcoating. My asphalt still looks great except that the tropical sun here in Hawaii has oxidized the surface of the asphalt driveway and parking area. After doing considerable research, I have come to the conclusion that applying an asphalt rejuvenator product (Sealmaster has one called Plasti-Pave Acrylic Rejuvenator) is the best way to go because it softens and binds the asphalt and it also makes it dark again. It should be cheaper in the long run because it can last up to 6-7 years and only requires one coat. But guess what? I haven't found one professional asphalt contractor on Oahu that is able & willing to apply a Rejuvenator product on my asphalt. Many different excuses. But I strongly believe because Rejuvenator staves off new asphalt jobs and lasts longer that the sealcoating.
This is something alot of companys should do this instead of spraying on this driveways this so cool. if had a company like this it would cut my time in half getting the job done better
Too bad none of the asphalt maintenance companies on Oahu (Hawaii) refuse to apply the Sealmaster asphalt rejuvenator product. So, as a customer I'm stuck unless I can find another product that isn't out of stock.
@@debbiehufford9578 okay then, sounds like it would work for brick roads. I mean it says crack filler, so not sure why it would be advertised like that if it wasn’t capable of jointing a brick road.
Lol, your sealer is garbage - Its constantly watered down from distributors. There is always trash in it, but you'll probably never mention flushing dirty sealer out of old tanks which have not been properly cleaned prior the winter before, so whatever. No one ever, is going to fill cracks in a parking lot out of a 1 gallon tube, so why advertise that? Machines are "ok" at best, but some don't come as advertised either. Shocker right? Thanks for sharing, glad I got to comment the truth.
@@rearspeaker6364 coal tar in general is always cut. My point is they don't watch what their distributors do to it, and they completely trash their product
