>Huge blindspot Adjust your mirrors correctly/panoramically and you won't need to shoulder check, nor have any blind spots. To do this, adjust your central rear view normally, then park the car about 10ft away from a parking pole, gas pump, or other sign. with the object just barely in the corner of the center mirror. Then align the inside corner of the side mirror to barely overlap with and see the same object. Now do the same on the other side. You'll have no more side blind spots and you'll be able to see perfectly in both lanes next to you all the way down. As cars pass out of your rear view, they'll pass INTO your side views, and as they pass out of your side views, the fronts of cars will then be in your peripheral vision with still a touch of the rear fender of said cars overlapped in the outside edge of your side view mirrors.
I don't know how you got a whole bike in there. I ride a medium sized mountain bike and I have to slide the passenger seat all the way forward, fold it forward, and take the front wheel off the bike to even get that part of it through the hatch, it is literally too big for the hatch opening. It does fit with the wheel off but I can't take a passenger.
Why do you test drive a small car with a small engine...and then complain about the lack of power and the lack of head room. We're you expecting something different? It's like eating an apple and then complain that it tastes to much like an apple
Have a 2015 cx3gt loaded, bought used At 14k miles in fall 2018. Now 32k miles. Loaded and Soul Red. Added larger 19 inch rims and wide low profile 40 series Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Have had on road course incl. Standing water and heavy rain and did awesome with the Skyacitve AWD. Best handling of anything I have had in 30 years incl. A Gti I raced in SCCA! TRUELY a small Miata cross over SUV .
good video! a good friend of mine is looking for a used car (MPV, suv,..) and he is 6'5" tall like you. do you think a Honda FR-V will have enough leg- and headroom? Also if you haven't driven the car yet, do you know if the FR-V is at least not smaller than the CR-V? i know about the upright driving position - don't you think that this can get a problem? He is driving an old Mercedes b-klasse right bow with about 1-2 inch free headspace, and also in my CX-5 he has no problems if that helps!? thank you!
After 6 years of driving 180,000 miles my HR-V transmission got totally trashed new transmission 5k plus labor I said no way jose not spending 10k on the transmission so I sold it in parts got 5 times more than what the junkyard wanted to pay me the only thing no one wanted to buy or even for free was that uncomfortable rear seat 🤯
NO. If you don't want a manual shift you have to buy the ev model which you may or may not be able to find depending on how many second hand car dealerships in your area bought them after they were leased by the original owner. I have heard however that the battery in it is fantastic with range and looking it up they tend to last so no big issue there. Also you get everything the other ones have including back seats. electric range meter is very easy to read and comprehend unlike how hidden or strange other ones are. I am determining whether or not to own an ev of the fiat 500 or the smart car. I keep getting closer to fiat 500 due to better range, funner drive, and 4 people car if you need it. They tend to cost the same price it's just the fiat 500e is a huge sleeper in terms of electric cars as the ceo did not want to make it (however due to Florida law had to) all of them have a 4 year to 50,000 mile warranty as far as I could find. Everyone who owns them says there excellent diamond in the rough cars. You don't want a regular fiat 500 manual as the engine tends to blow 40k miles after use thus people just lease it and leave it.
It does have “speaker power” it’s as good as any other stock setup that you don’t pay a lot extra for. I’ve never kept a stock system in any of my cars.
I will agree this video is useless and cringe. They replied to a comment hating on the video for it not having any actual stats or good info and they said something like “it’s format is for an average person” they have no clue what they are talking about. For $25k-$30k you’d better believe people want to know why it costs that much and what it’s competitors are doing.
Don't get the HRV with the cvt automatic trans. In Europe we have a 1.5L engine 130hp and it's sufficient with the standard trans. I found out don't use the "Eco" mode, it makes the throttle sluggish and the gas mileage is not much different!

I think the clutch needs to be light in a daily driver for your commute. You'd get used to where the biting point is in the clutch, it's just muscle memory. PLEASE FORD, BRING BACK THE MANUAL FORD HATCHBACK TO USA
I'm sad that, first they discontinued the hatchback with the 5 speed manual in 2016. Then they cancelled the Focus after 2018! Look, it was never meant to be super fast with the 2.0l engine. It was quick enough for the daily commute and got great gas mileage. Plus it was a very reliable car. Now in 2020, it's CRAZY that Ford won't sell one of these for me to buy in AMERICA. They don't even give me a chance to be their customer - they force me to look at the Honda Civic Hatch (ugly!) or the VW Golf TSI 6-speed (reliability?).
If anyone is reading this in North America, PLEASE call or write to Ford Customer Service and tell them we want the all new Focus hatchback with a manual option to return to our market ASAP. If all their customers are telling them, they'll listen and bring it back. It's not like they don't produce it for the European and Australian market. They can do it if there is enough interest. I've had mine for 4 years and it has 30k miles. Nice and sporty car, fun to drive. Audio system and touchscreen is awesome. The interior has held up pretty well but water has leaked into the ceiling and footwell a few times. Just found out my wheel bearings already need replacing....so definitely not built to last
