I've been marvelling at the "Buffalo Springfield Sound" since '67 when I was 17 with Marantz tube amps and Klipschorns when only a couple other crazies would listen to me and at 74 neighbors are still trying to get the cops to tell me to "Turn it down"! Dr. Creo
They were about ready to make a go of it. BUT, with the Narcissist's impeccable, absolute, and inescapable timing, Crosby literally showed up at the front door and Stills' programming kicked in. Stills simply followed Crosby out the door.
A fantastic musical and visual experience !! Thank you to all Springfield participants, and to the rest of the crew. Such footages will forever witness the good times....
I believe Bruce was actually deported once (mary jane possession if i remember correctly) Palmers album that came out in 1971 is interesting and VERY different. I still jam that album.
I got to be acquainted with Dewey Martin back in '83, I believe it was. He'd come over to my place and hang out listening to the popular music at the time. I remember him as a very good man.
ESTE HOMBRE ES ÚNICO NACIDO PARA SER EL MEJOR MÚSICO ARTÍSTICO NADIE COMO EL PARA TOCAR Y HABLAR LITERALMENTE LA LIRA ÉL MEJOR EL MEJOR MÚSICO ARTÍSTICO
I got to interview Neil in 1986, played on the same bill as Richie in Key West around 1994, and was Paul Cottons' neighbor until his passing in 2019. So close to greatness.😞😞.
I was shooting location video for Entertainment Tonight in 1984, did you shoot this on 1” or 3/4, I’m guessing 3/4 and looks in pristine quality. You were definitely the right man with the right gear at exactly the right time!
I love that Stephen is playing a Steinberger gl2ta with EMG humbuckers. In the 80’s they were not cheap, sold for about $2,500 back in 1986. Now if you find a used one they go for more than twice that. Trust Stephen Stills to have very cool guitar in his home studio!
Cue 13:47 Love the last shot where Stephen does a mock strangling of Neil with the belly laugh shout of "I quit!" referencing Neil leaving the band back in the day. Priceless!
