It does fit, but it's tight. Most people use a gun slip and only use the case for international travel, in which case the adapter is easy enough to remove if needed.
Have a gen 1 Evo but unfortunately the first locking tab on the top right sheared during a match.. Otherwise happy with it. Guess thats a compromise when going for light weight.
Really sorry to hear that, it's rare issues occur even with such low weight. Our ELR Competition bipod is designed for the rigours of modern competition shooting however. It's significantly more substantial in both size and the materials used and features all of our latest interface feature developments.
All top quality products. Very nice! I use Tier One mounts on my F Class rifles and I have the levelling tool. It’s a great help in setting up. I prefer to use a flat bar under the scope turret housing held on by a strong rubber band and sit the small level on that rather than the top of the turret/cap. Some scope turret’s (like my Nightforce) change as they are rotated. Another tip to make life easier is to leave the quick release fitting on the hose from your compressor or bottle and fit a 1/8” male quick release on to the Air-Arms brass fitting. That allows it to rotate and makes fitting and removing so much easier. Great video of some fantastic products. So much stuff today is just mass produced junk- all these products were produced with care and attention 👍🏻
Thanks for the comment and for being part of the Tier-One family. We certainly agree and we're proud to be a home grown manufacturer using only the highest quality materials.
Hi and good afternoon I enjoyed watching the video and like what you used to level the scope can you tell me a bit more about this product and were I can get one many thanks.
Hi, thanks for the message. We manufactured the optic levelling kit in collaboration with Long Range Solutions. Unfortunately they are currently out of stock.
Hi, the legs have a physical stop at 90 degrees and do not fold back. The military did not want a leg to even have the chance of folding back if deployed quickly.
They're a beautiful rimfire. The MTR offers two sling studs mounting points, ideal for fitting a Picatinny rail. We would recommend fitting a Picatinny rail to offer maximum precision and versatility.
With out a doubt the best all rounder I own splashed out £1000 for the rifle 450 for a top notch H5 glass Amazing accuracy at 25 /30 ideal target range slug gun pest control not suitable for weak soft lads it’s heavy, first time out at alders air gun range scored a 244 out of the box amazing weapon
Great to hear, the S510 Ultimate Sporter R is an impressive bit of kit. Beautiful to shoot and incredibly accurate. The Hills EC-3000 Evo is fantastic for charging anything up to 6.8l dive tanks. Hopefully you've paired your setup with some nice Tier-One bits too? 😉
didn't really like the way this was set up, it's not the greatest in respect to mine which is the tac in the laminate stock, hawke scope hawke mounts and Harris bipod, the moderator I removed and replaced with the end piece of the barrel giving it better performance, the tac is an amazing rifle that doesn't disappoint, the dive bottle is also my go to as I'm sure I won't be dragging a compressor around with me
Very nice set up and beautifully filmed and edited video. Just one thing though at 1:07 it would be much better to have stainless steel screws rather than cheap plated items, even black finish would look better than them!
Thanks for watching. We only make our screws from high grade stainless steel. After surface finishing most are black oxide coated, but some are left in the white depending on application.
You would need to check with your retailer to see if they are able to stock AirArms and Hawke. We do sell our optic mounts and bipods world wide however.
I will send my evulotion back. The construction on this is not good at all. Nice looking but weak and definitely not smooth!! Feels cheap and unstable back to the drawingbord guys you can do better!
Sorry you're not happy, but it's a design we have been successfully using for years. It's a very popular bipod in our range. It's manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium and aerospace grade carbon fibre so definitely not weak! This is our go to bipod on our long range 300 RUM. It massively helps reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. If you let us know if you're experiencing a specific issue we might be able to resolve it and get you loving the bipod as much as we do.
Beautifully presented. I’m getting back into the hobby after a 40 year break, and this explains the setup very clearly. Just the attention to detail that I love. Many thanks.
How big of an objective lens can you use with the cantilever mount on a mil-spec AR? I might be tempted to mount a long-range/hunting scope with a red dot mounted to the accessory rail. This is the only mount I've found so far that looks like it will allow an Aimpoint T2 to piggyback (aside from Raptar mounts). The possibilities are interesting.
You can run a 50mm objective with properly specced AR or rifle with full length rail. We had a lot of customers running the ZCO 4-20x50 and have recently realised a 20MOA version specifically for them.
Great s510 from Air Arms and sidewinder scope from Hawke fully complimented by the Tier-One tactical bipod and mounts … a set up I’d be happy to have in the cabinet
I have m-lock under my fore-end. Would you recommend an m-lock to sling swivel , or m-lock to Picatinny or some other option for mounting? The stock is a woox cobra precision.
Thanks for the description of the difference between the two Arca adapters. Looks like my new bipod (carbon version). Not cheap but look like a quality product. I already have one of your short saddle scope mounts, lovely bit of kit and I like to support British manufacturers. I'll also add your customer service was great when I needed to swap the mount to a higher version, my error!
slaughtered all the animals in europe and america so you gotta go and hunt in azabaijan. greedy hogs. you wouldnt be able to hunt nothing without your expensive gear and helicopters and satelite phones.
The thumb nuts on the body of the bipod above each leg allow you to lock the bipod legs in place or adjust the adjustment tension. The legs move together, but cant adjustment makes up for a certain amount uneven ground. Perfect for use one the bench or fixed firing points.
Hi, I have the FTR carbon fibre Tier 1 bipod. Twice on the range my rifle has become detached from the bipod. I appreciate this must be something I have done wrong when first setting the bipod up. I am not very mechanically minded and would have appreciated some setting up instructions. Other shooters at the range use your bipods without problems, I am great with bricks and mortar but spanners and screw drivers, not so much. PS, I have just found out what the thumb nuts are for from the previous comment!!!@@TierOne
