The new A-TAC bipod is the latest addition to the Tier-One tactical bipod lineup. Combining features from the ELR Competition bipod with the light weight and modular ethos of our popular Tactical bipod, the A-TAC takes versatility to a whole new level. Light, tough and adjustable to almost any shooting situation, this really is the one bipod to do it all.
Tactical professionals, hunters or competition shooters can tune the A-TAC bipod to their specific needs. Available in 180mm (short) and 230mm (long) leg lengths in both aluminium and carbon fibre leg configurations, the A-TAC bipod comes in either ARCA or QD Picatinny fitment. With its modular design, the adapter head can be swapped between ARCA, Picatinny tilt only or Picatinny pan / tilt at any time. Feet can be swapped out in seconds from the standard rubber foot to our spike feet or even our 50mm leg extension kits. Further customisation allows for Podlock or tilt tension key fitment for a setup that's perfect for your specific use case or preference.

Great video. Quick question, can the legs be swept back 180 degrees? Or do they have a stop at 90.

Hi, the legs have a physical stop at 90 degrees and do not fold back. The military did not want a leg to even have the chance of folding back if deployed quickly.

Hi, hopefully can help me out. I am thinking of purchasing your ATAC bipod for my Brocock sniper xr air rifle . Can you please tell me how long the mount rail is so I can see if it will fit on my Picatinny rail on my rifle and does the bipod come with a case. I look forward to hearing from you, John.

John, I'm sure Tier One will reply themselves. But for the meantime having just bought one myself, no it doesn't come with a case. The Picatinny Mount is about 1.1 Inches long. I'd imagine if you had a 4/5 slot rail that would be long enough. I will have a review out shortly, but overall a very good bi-pod for the price with alot of flexibility not offered anywhere else at this price point.

Hi John, the clamping surface on the Picatinny adapter is 30mm, but as long as you are mounted on to at least 20mm of rail you'll be fine on a PCP air rifle with little recoil. You will have no issue what so ever on the standard Brocock Sniper XR rail. Unfortunately we no longer offer cases with our Tactical line of bipods though.

Hi i have a blaser r8 carbon leather with match barrels and wildcat predator 12. I only use it for target shooting... will this be a better option for me over the evolution or normal tactical? And should i go for the carbon atac with tilt and pan and blaser adapter? Basically which one should I order for my requirements please. Thanks in advance

I personally think it's hard to beat the Evolution bipod on the Blaser R8 platform. It was really designed around it. You won't find a flatter shooting bipod on the R8.
