I wish that the gibbon exhibit and the other animal exhibits could look more like there actual home with everything that they eat and play with in the wild so that they would feel a little more at home.
Such haunting and enchanting music, it can’t possibly be real…..this is what you hear in heaven….those beautiful animals… Are those sound tiles on the ceiling to enhance their songs? Ah!
Looking at pictures and maps online of Brookfield Zoo, this seems to be an indoors enclosure, with the apes behind glass. So I imagine (hope) they hear very little of that noise from the crowds.

Gosh they are such beautiful soulful animals . Proud but shy mum showing off her baby. They must think we are all strange beings watching them from afar. Bub smiling goodness makes my heart swell xox
Young or old, you only have to look into their eyes to see that they are us and we are them. They are indeed the most beautiful of all the primates- including most humans.
I have mad respect for these moms!! For many reasons, but a funny one is that any human mom would scream if our baby pulled our hair or gripped our skin like that 😅 Love this video😊
I don't know if these beautiful animals can take so much noise everywhere and every day they really need to be behind soundproof glass so they can have their pace and quiet with their baby's

It's so sweet how Josie loves her mama so much that even already in her arms, she's still constantly reaching out with any available fingers/toes to touch or hold onto different parts of her. Mom looks so content. I was also impressed with how vigilant she was when the male came around making sure he wasn't going to get too close. She's just an amazing, incredibly caring orangutan all around. She's already tending to her little one but when another mom sits down beside her she starts grooming her. One of the best orang videos I've ever seen and I've watched hundreds if not more.
Capitalism will ruin our planet. Because of the greed of the capitalists, poor animals suffer, forests are being cut down, and wildlife is dying. We must fight capitalism, otherwise soon we will not see these beautiful animals on our planet.
