I love Orangutans & really appreciate your vids! Thanks for taking the time to make them as well as putting them up to share them with the rest of us. This vid however was over 8 minutes of watching grass/trees grow. I'm honestly not trying to be a dick so please don't take it that way. I just wish there was a comment or some sort of a heads up in the title or description stating that they didn't do anything or even move in the slightest bit. That way people could move on to the next vid if they don't care to watch a tree grow. It's just a thought & again, I'm not trying to be a dick & really do appreciate your vids.
That was a wonderful video. I really enjoyed watching them. Mama loves her lil one the baby looked so content and safe. You caught one of those special moments great job 👍
I don't understand what she's doing holding the baby like that, not allowing it to move, holding onto it's head like that. I've not seen this behavior before. If the baby is 16 months old, she should be moving away from Mom in short bursts. Plus it looks as though the Momis using her thumbs to keep the baby's eyes closed or something. Plus, the baby does not look happy which is IMO not common at this point as though she feels captive.
I read somewhere that when the baby is ready, the mom will chew fruit and then put the softened fruit in the baby's mouth to get it started on solid food. ?? Just can't see what the mom is doing. The baby isn't crying and doesn't look to be in distress. The mom is very loving.
