Twitch: www.twitch.tv/macklingaming_live Yo how’s it goin everybody? I make videos on a variety of Open World/RPGs and anything Nintendo! You can also catch me on livestreams playing the latest releases or some old favorites. Subscribe to see my videos first!
the fun in games is basically gone its just money money money, grind grind grind grind, even with recently black ops 6, you literally have to search around for extra cash to get better weapons IN OFFLINE MODE i also hate how now paid games are treated like free 2 play, like you charged people 70 bucks for your crap, and you charge people for more?! im talking to you NFS unbound (Yes i am aware with mods on PC that can bypass these BS, but what about people who play on consoles?) these kinds of things made games unfun and while the story might be good, it is being clouded by the terrible system and gameplay. Thus people prefer more watching game movies or walkthroughs than playing it themselves
I have played hundreds of hours of No Man's Sky and it is childish, outdated graphics, ridiculous story. Absurd combat. Nothing seems real. What good are trillions of planets if everything is algorithmic and repetitive, with unreal distances. It doesn't catch me. It seems like a bad joke. Starfield is immersive. Great story, dialogues dubbed into my language, realistic physics, good graphics, good exploration. I feel like I'm really in space. It has risk, romances, good combat. Well defined features. Starfield is a sum of Mass Effect + Elite Dangerous. For me the best. When I met Starfield I didn't play No Man's Sky anymore
The reason for it being Tee-dus is it's a localisation of a Japanese name not an English one, so the theming comes form the Japanese word used. His original name is Tīda (ティーダ), based on the Okinawan word for "sun", "tida".
I just saw another guy review this crappy game called, "Dustborne", and he spat so many facts, which also proved your point. It is a major problem, but you aren't allowed to point it out. Instead you get damned for it. I spent the last week designing my characters and making clothing to fit the season, for these same characters, in VRoid. The exciting thing about that software is being able to use these same characters in AR/VR apps, especially VRChat. They can even be further edited in Blender, Unity, and Unreal engine as I have seen so far. I feel the playable apps are still limited at this point, though.
Those are some awesome autographs! It's especially neat to see actors like Charles attending conventions like this and being so joyous with fans after all these years. (:
@@novellguySA Good question, now that I’ve played more of the DLC I feel like it falls flat of their previous DLC’s. The writing of the main storyline isn’t as good as it could have been. The new weapons and gear aren’t very interesting, I kept using old gear from the base game. However I do enjoy exploring the new planet, and that you don’t have to fast travel a single time to complete the whole DLC. If I gave a review, I’d give it a 7/10. It’s mid, but not complete trash!
Man, I love old manuals like that, the N64 Ocarina of Time manual I'd read all the time as a kid. I appreciate how there's singular illustrations for different attacks and movement. Awesome room tour! (: was a delight to see.
@@TomzTavern Glad you enjoyed it! I agree, it’s a bummer when you buy physical copies of modern games and all you get is the disc/cartridge and the case.
X is and will forever be great, its one of the most non-divisive FF titles. Back in my day, I had a PS2 legendary 5500+ hour file with everyone's Celestial weapons with Crests and Sigils, FOUR sets of ultimate armors for everyone and, I held the world record for 551 lightning bolts dodged in a row without the crater trick. FFX is so good. Its relatable while remaining fantasy, the characters are well developed and have deep, meaningful arcs, the world of Spira is interesting, the battle system's some of the best it had ever been, this is one where if you had to point out the flaws, besides the side-quests for some of the Celestial weapon sigils, you'd kinda be hard-pressed to find. I'm bias to FFX and proud of it, I love FFX!
Thanks for the video. I really don't like base building and grinding so I'm so glad I never bought No man's. Also I find Starfields fasttravel very good as you quickly gets to action.
Have you played red dead two? Sorry if you said so in the video i'm partially deaf and sometimes the subtitles are funky, but rdr2 is decidely more tragic than rdr1 imo.
@@skelly-vogue of course! RDR2 is one of my all time favorites. Arthur’s death was sad looking out at the sunset, I’m just slightly more of a John Marston fan :)
@@MacklinGaming Fair enough, tbh i was like 8 when the first one came out so i wasn't allowed to play it for years, bought it myself last year after rdr2.
Hey!! I have over 7000 hours in NMS! At 8 hours you didn't even start the game!! get out there and put some time in! until you do that your review isn't worth a glance!!
The Aesthetic theme of FF10 is based on Okinawa... the colors, the setting, the costumes, everything is based on Okinawan culture, and Tide-es is his name, I don't care what anyone else thinks, Tidus is Tide-es.
It's kind of funny that you acknowledge the Okinawan theming, but then actively ignore the fact that the Tee-dus pronunciation comes from an Okinawan dialect word. Totally fine to prefer reading it like water is the theme of his name, but the devs intended this sunshine boy to have a name that means sun.
Tee-dus is correct, not ty-dus. It only sounds worse in english. In the majority of european and asian languages "Tee-dus" sounds much more natural than "Tide-us / Ty-dus"
Gained a new sub. The internet, youtube comments and twitter is not real(so toxic). We all know to get high quality games game dev will take time. I have been having a blast 2023 and 2024. I have played granblue relink, FF7 rebirth, stellar blade, currently play BG3. I don't regret buying my PS5 , i even have a pc but I still like console gamong due to couch. Not enough people bought japan studio games sadly .We got witcher4 , gta 6, monster hunter wilds, SONY firet party still cooking. It is the calm before the storm
I played FFX like 6 times and currently streaming a playthrough on twitch. There is so much bonus content like the monster arena and super bosses hidden throughout spira once u get the airship.
@@sashikiru5250 I really enjoyed the Celestial Weapons side quests even though they’re so time consuming, it helps your party grind up more levels. I ended up getting Caladbolg, Nirvana, and Masamune which made the final bosses much easier!
@@MacklinGaming Ah yes, the weapon for Lulu was very time consuming (Onion Knight) as it required you to do 200 lightning jumps in a row to fully upgrade it so I don't blame you for not getting them all 😂😂 But if I were to recommend a FF to try out, it be Final Fantasy Tactics
Your shorts for some reason remind me that I need to get around to finishing Star Ocean Second Story R. I never played the original, but the HD-2D is the best I have seen bringing the old pixel art into a modern look. I really hope they do this for the older Final Fantasy games. I feel like the pixel remasters are so lazy. Edit: Apparently, Pizza Tower is in some relation to Wario Land 4. I see the comments listening to the "hurry up!" Track.
It's interesting you brought up how facial animations can look stiff in the original ps2 version. They're even worse in the HD remaster. Apparently they had to recreate the faces from the ground up and they completely botched it. There are so many subtle expressions Tidus would make in the original that are just lost in the HD remaster. His face literally doesn't move as well in the newer version. Playing the original ps2 version running on an emulator at 4k resolution is the definitive way to play in 2024 imo
@@wickitklown90 You fight the first 2 together, if you kill the big guy first during that fight, then you will face the 3rd. If you kill the short king first I dont think you end up facing the 3rd brother.
@@MacklinGamingno you can face all 3. Doesn't matter if you kill big guy first the 3rd fight will happen automatically. If u kill short king first you have to use the reward u get from the fight to lure the 3rd boss out
Star field has been hemorrhaging players since launch and can’t seem to turn it around. Meanwhile the NMS community experiences consistent annual growth despite the rocky launch they were forced into.
I took a Chespin all the way to the last attack being Vine Whip against AZs pokemon, lol. It was at lv. 81. Unfortunately, I lost it in a bad data transfer. They are probably in some old backup of a 3ds encrypted save, but even if I recovered them, I wouldn't even be able to bring it back because the online servers shut down for the 3DS.
