If you coarse hair: exfoliate before, heat up your pores (hot shower), and use shaving cream... you will get a skin smooth shave. Those with fine hair will get a smooth skin shave dry without much effort.
which demartologist told you that? Coarse hair men require proper regiments for shaving. If you don't exfoliate properly before you shave, then you should not use anything electric on your hair. If you don't exfoliate before you shave, then you shouldn't bother shaving at all. A circular motion has nothing to do with ingrown hairs or black men. A rotary blade actually cuts hair follicles flatter than a razor. What you are trying to say is coarse hair men (not all blacks have coarse hair) should not cut the same hair follicle multiple times in one shave to increase the odds of an angled follicle cut which pokes into their skin layer and turns the hair around to create irritation... which causes ingrown hairs. Is that what you are trying to say?
No offense but I'm a black man and I need to keep it real our skin is way too sensitive for these white boy shavers. DO NOT BUY ANY OF THESE Again if you are black our skin is way too sensitive for this bull crap. Use "Andis" Shavers White Boys/Men Good Shavers for you Black Boys/Men don't use I don't know why the hell he's even advertising this for us
What kind of texture hair to do you have? Thecutbuddy.com has a foaming shaving cream and a cooling shaving gel. I recommend the foaming shaving cream. Try to get something with menthol, tea tree, or willow bark if you have irritation often.
@@TheCutBuddy now start introducing yourself when you do these excellent videos, your handsome have a personality, thats how you become a household name. Pleasure meeting you.
Thanks for sharing. Are you a dry shaver or wet shaver? If you are a dry shaver, this is great information, and we will be sure to piggy bag on your idea.
Appreciate the video. I do think people who do these kinds of videos should be clean shaven though. I'm here wondering if they work and it's just your word.
Thats a great point. I have many videos using the Bald Buddy. Unfortunately, it would go against my company policies to overly promote another brand. But I will see what I can do in the future.
Freebird shaver works well too, and this so true, it takes around 5 minutes ,thanks for telling the truth, and somehow i just knew it would take that long... its truly common sense.... they will say anything to make a few bucks, but they do work...no doubt about it. :-)
"My shaver stopped working during my shave" is the #1 bad review every brand gets. This is actually a customer education issue on how to clean rotary shavers. 95% of returns become gifts to my friends because they still work. If you dont clear the blades, the shaver will bog and freeze. Same thing for the other brands. Most of these shavers aren't different engine wise... many of the shavers in this video have same battery and motor supplier
Yeah, exfoliation is key! I do it anytime I shave, but also anytime head is feeling itchy and dry, I exfoliate. The best exfoliating brush I've used is called Wizker. We look to partner with them in the future but I'd definitely get one!
I just bought this trimmer at wal mart and on the box it says it already does a zero gap but now after finding this video I’m confused do I still need to buy another part to really get a zero gap??
The trimmer out the box allows you to use the lever to safely gap the blades. This tool is for those who want to take it to the extreme. It allows the lever to pull the cutting blade beyond the guard blade, which puts a user at risk of cutting themselves if they are not precise. It's almost like taking the safety off a gun or a limiter off a 4 wheeler. There are some barbers who prefer to be in control of how far they gap.
Thanks for the reveiw! One question: Is it recommended to put some oil on the blades every now and then like with normal shavers or should I avoid doing that?
That's an excellent question. Yes, you can put a very small amount of oil on there. To apply oil, you need to put it behind the blades. Don't put it on the side that touches your head. Then, run the shaver for a while to allow oil to make its way around. Then, be sure to clean any residue oil that may touch your head. I would say that oiling may be more critical for people who are using it dry. Dry shavers aren't giving shavers a chance to cool down as much as wet shavers. So lubricant becomes more helpful to extend life of blades.
Nice to meet you. I have a video where I reviewed my favorite shavers. If your shaver does the job in 5 minutes and is powerful then, you don't need to look any further. I do feel like 7 heads is overkill. It was a marketing play to tell you "more heads, the better it works" that's false. In fact the more heads, the more headache you'll have cleaning. The harder the motor has to work to spin 7 heads. I have found 5 heads to be ideal for coarse hair. Fine hair users can escape with 4 heads. But 7 heads is what imitation brands advertise to capture newer customers. Where are you located?
If using a razor and a shaver give you bumps you need to review your pre and post shave regiment. I have a sensitive head too and i have to do specific steps before and after shaving.
Thanks for reaching out. It both solutions razor and shaver give razor bumps there is a change that is needed in your regiment of shaving. I'd be glad to help! 1st question is: Are you shaving wet or dry?
Is your friend completely bald or starting to bald? Do they have fine hair, or is it coarse hair? Naturally, I recommend The Bald Buddy, but I will give you options based on your answer.
@@NURU-dm8cc I'm sure he will like that one. He just needs to figure out if he likes to shave wet or dry. And he needs to make sure he cleans it often. Rotary shavers eat hair, so they will get full and jam if not cleaned often.
Np. Are you saying you can't take it out still , or were you able to figure it out? If it's totally jammed, you may need to use pliers and gently turn it the way the arrows show. I have never needed to use pliers on anyone's middle piece, though.
an alternative to wet shaving is to do an oil shave for short stubble. take a dime sized drop of almond oil and rub into your scalp. the oil will lubricate and allow you to lift flat hairs. and no, it will not clog the razor.
Thanks for the support. Most important thing is to keep the blades clean. When you are shaving you will hear it slow down sometimes, just keep it running and place blades under faucet. All the debris will spill out and then shaver will speed back up. This goes for all brands of bald rotary shavers. If you have any issues email us at customer@thecutbuddy.com. We got your back!
Ive been researching a bald head shaver for my husband for a few days now and mixed emotions about the reviews ! Ive decided to support ur product! Appreciate ur video and honestly! Blessings 🙏🏼
That's love! Thank you. Most important thing about bald rotary shavers is keeping the blades clean and clear. Whenever you hear the shaver start to slow down, just keep it running and place blades under faucet of water. It will throw up all the debris and hair. Then it will speed back up!
You'll love it. The most important thing for rotary shavers to run then in water power on when they begin to get full. They will begin to bog or slow down as they eat enough hair. Make sure the shaving cream is thin and lathered. The rotary shavers down like thick or milk shake shaving cream. They like to stay clear as possible.
