Thank you for this video! I was lucky to see them twice in new orleans. The energy in their show, and how they interact with their audience make you feel a part of the show. I am 69 years old and love this band!!
Money is a byproduct from making music..… if you make money cool, it won’t happen…. But if it does, have fun still working at McDonald’s while you’re a Soundclown artist
Even if you’re best…. Means absolutely nothing today. You are replaceable, you are forgettable and you’re definitely going to waste your time…. Do not make music unless you actually care about the craft and don’t care about money…. If you’re making music for money YOU ARE A CLOWN AND A LOSER 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
After listening & being heavily influenced by Russ, I'll always stay independent with my music. It may be more difficult, but I'd rather have control over being in a potential bad situation with a label, where you have no control.
I have been listening to twenty one pilots since I was 11, and 6 years later I know every word to every single song by heart, and currently adding Clancy to my mental playlist of TØP. This band has gotten me through the darkest points in my life, and I know it will continue to with my upcoming adult years. I will never grow out of this band ❤
Thanks for this. It is definitely encouraging and there are obvious pitfalls along the way w/ the process but, it is definitely more level playing field to enter the music industry now than anytime in the past. and people forget that the 'industry' has always been pay-to-play on many different levels so if you want to keep %100 of everything you can do it all yourself including d2fan streaming and distribution, otherwise ~%60-ish of the pie for world-wide distribution, marketing etc... seems a bit more reasonable price to pay to be in the game and maybe a more realistic perspective. In the meantime artists and fans can work for a more equitable stake in the future by demanding it, putting some skin in the game and a bit more sweat equity. just my $0.02.
The Downside is there are a lot of people with mediocre talent but with better social skills making it ahead. Musicians were mostly the quite guys in classrooms but now the industry has become the cool kids playground
Yeah, you belong, unless you're old. As if young people suffer more. All those I identified with who were closer to my age are now dead. With TOP promoting staying alive despite depression, old people like me could use the support, too; but, I've been ignored on every post I've made on all social platforms for the past 5 years. I'm trying not to waste my time trying anymore; but, it's super sad when you don't fit in anywhere and are an outsider to an outsider's group.
I love 21 pilots but man some fans are hella annoying and toxic. i actually went to their concert only listening stressed out , when asked about my favourite song by a fan there i said stressed out , and man these guys alleged me as a fake fan
i understand, but idk if only listening to one song calls you a fan. (Not saying you aren't, im sure you love the band) im just saying that it feels like you should at least llisten to most of their discography/albums.
twenty one pilots could release the shittiest cracksong and I would still support them because of what they've done for me and so many millions of people
