I bought one Saturday 10/06/2024 at Bass Pro Shop, just dumped 100 rounds through mine. Nice ergonomics, great trigger, went bang reliably, zero malfunctions, BUT… The rear sight isn’t centered and shot 6” to right, 6” to 8” high at 15 yards with factory irons out of the box. I’m going to drop a Primary Arms (they’re near my office) RDS on it in the next few days, so no big deal.
I recently got the Tokarev TTF Titan for only 119 from PSA. I fully expected it not to run birdshot at all. However to my surprise it ran 80 shells of 00 buckshot, #4 buckshot and 7 1/2 and #8 bridshot beautifully. I only had two failure to ejects and that was from birdshot (which I fired 50 shells of). So for me I was SUPER HAPPY knowing that I could train with cheap birdshot with this shotgun. I'm still going to run a bunch more buckshot especially after I recently got the +2 shell extension tube installed. If I can run 200 or more shells with no problems, it will replace my old trusty Mossberg Maverick 88 pump shotgun as my primary home defense shotgun. I tried doing target transitions with both and the Titan just smoked the Maverick 88 as far as how fast I could shoot it. I'm still keeping the Mav88 because I can shoot minishells from it (with an OpSol adapter) however the Tokarev Titan smokes it for home defense in terms of how fast I can transition between targets and let of an insane amount of lead onto the target. My go-to load is Noble #4 buckshot for home defense as it has a little more spread than 00 buck, but also way less over-penetration (but deep enough to take out a person). Also in my book, more wound channels from 27 pellets is better than only 9 slightly bigger wound channels in 00 buck where the pellets are likely to completely pass through an intruder and out into a neighbor's house. .
leftie here as well. Gonna get one of these soon, but I was under the impression that I would want it to open to the left. How has your experience gone after 12 days?
0:31 Do it until a judge says you can't. Probably not most important thing in question these days. I think it's cool as shit, and, wonder if the threads matching is a coincidence. Your firearm, your filter.ENJOY!!!.Can't wait to see if some nut will try car muffler. Lol
I picked up my Tisas 2 days ago. I have not shot it but I have cleaned it, oiled it, and racked it many, many times in the last 2 days. I just wanted a no frills 2011 type pistol.
