From the creators of the motorcycle legend that is 44Teeth, we bring you - Bike Sausage. He we are free to fill the content cravings with the quirky nuggets left over from 44T, the parts which other videos cannot reach. It's the bubble and squeak of Motorcycle Nirvana. Enjoy me.
Would have been a more realistic test if you had sat the samples on an agitation plate to simulate fuel moving through and around components as the vehicle moves, I think you would have seen far greater differentials.
You didn’t test the fuel to measure the % of ethanol, you took it for granted that it was five and 10. If you test the fuel, it’s very unlikely than the 10 will actually be 10 or the 5 will be 5%.
E10 is cheaper but you get less MPG so is it cheaper? Even if you drive like you care about MPG that is. I have a BMW M140i (B58 engine) which I run on E5. I had a 2013 M135i (with the N55 engine) and I tried it on E10. The MPG was DEFINITELY lower and the car had noticeably less torque. I have never put E10 in my M140i and I never will.
I’ve always used E5 in my old 2T had a 94 plate DT125R and never once did I have issues with fuel apart from rust in the tank from it sitting in a broken shed for 15 years quick carb clean and she’d run perfect for a week 😂
As theres an overwhelming amount of stupid in this comment section, here’s all you need to know… Unless your bike is extremely old, use E10. It actually costs Shell etc more money to produce E10 so they just sell E5 at an inflated price because idiots don’t understand anything and Shell etc are fully aware of this. Thus why they managed to insist that hydrogen would work and here we are, 30 years later with no hydrogen stations. For anyone looking at getting an electric bike, the perfect numbers are a 30kWh battery, 70kW or greater motor and it should rapid charge with a NACS plug at 30kW or faster. Anyone that thinks engines are better most likely cant afford a car/bike with a decent engine due to their consistent incompetence.
I was getting all upset over the average speed cameras on the A272 mucking up my commute, then you remind me about getting out of Wandsworth for the A3.
Nice vid. Now I'm getting on a bit and struggling with racey riding positions and heavy bikes, I am planning on getting an XSR700 with all round Öhlins and a high level Akrapovic pipe. My Speed Twin 1200 is awesome, but just too heavy and rear end access for maintenance is a nightmare.
My 2L engine was SO sluggish and slow with E10. Next fill with E5 or VPower and the response was significantly better. So it is not a "feeling" or "all in your head", you can tell from the torque response on first gear.
I always put V power in my bikes yeah it's a bit more per litre but it's better for the bikes longevity and you get more mpg out of it because ethanol doesn't burn as efficiently as petrol so you use more fuel and need to fill up more often. Also try leaving a dirt bike sitting over the winter then have fun getting it to start ethanol also absorbs water i had to take my carburettor apart and rebuild it when i looked inside the fuel was contaminated with water and that was with E5 would have been way worse with E10 fuel
My 2020 Seat Leon 1,4 ehybrid hates e10.. it hates it... the engine does not run right on the stuff even though its suppose to. So I only run E5 and while it is a bit more expensive I do get that back through improved fuel consumption as it is just bad on the E10 stuff.
I was at that event. Kev gave us a respectful refund, which I appreciated. My best lap at Almeria is a 1:45:1, which I am pleased with, as I’m a fat old man. I’m heading back at the end of April this year. Your explanation how to manage the track and the markers to look at, are great. My lines are slightly different from yours, so I’m going to take your lines. Hopefully a tenth or 2 to edge into a 1:44.🤞. Thanks for a great video.
Great vid 👍. Highly entertaining. More sausages please. I think you may have to watch that Moto3 race again Al. All's fair in love and war but there's a but. First knock at turn 6 was like meh who cares but when Masiá did it again at turn 6 it was like hello hello. Then his teammate had a go as well when Sasaki fell back. They weren't exactly concentrating on their own racing at these points. Having said that, Sasaki has done a Canet all year and hadn't won a race so I don't think Sasaki deserved the championship anyway 😂😎
I disagree that Moto GP is at its best. Devices and Wings got to go, to give the riders more influence on what the bike is doing. Tyres should have less performance, just to give more margin for errors. The electronics should be there as a safety net, not as a performance enhancement.
Having ridden to Scotland and back twice over the last couple months, the difference from E10 to E5 is significant. On E10 there is less power and my bike is sluggish and vibrates a lot more and the engine feels lumpy and lower MPG and over range is less. On E5 within a few mins the engine performance improves significantly, more responsive and more power, no vibrations and the engine runs smoother and better MPG and range
10:26 i think the other manufacturers aren’t in it because it doesn’t really translate to sales anymore. Suzuki had Mir win the title and it didn’t really boost their road profile so they probably didn’t see the point anymore.
I do love you guys and your opinions but I'm sorry Al Jaime massia and especially his team mate did cross the line imo, you can't deliberately ride someone off the track, if it was only once you could say it was just a mistake but they blatantly done it several times. I love close racing but to blatantly ride into the side of him and run him out to the dirty side of the track is unsporting in my eyes
You have some of the best racers in Ireland yet they need to import highly skilled dinner drivers from Brazil. I left London, city of my birth, when i realised it was quicker to get across town on a cheap bicycle than on a motorcycle. Well that and the four burglaries and my neighbours being threatened with assault and kidnapping by the “police” because they weren’t foreigners dressed up as security for a high street food cartel when they pursued and caught the last lot of thieving pigs.
According to Gressini, Mapping 8 was a pre planned joke telling Digi to go for it. It goes back to when lorenzo was given the same message to let a team mate win and decided to ignore it. Great vid gents.
