Ok so I had six guitars and my wife said that you can’t play all of them 🎸 So I sold my USA 2012 Sunburst HSS Stratocaster 🎸 and I sold my 2009 Gibson USA Firebird Sunburst🎸and I sold my Martin Backpacker 🎸 leaving me with a 2017 USA Sonic Blue Stratocaster 🎸 and a 1967 USA Gibson ES 330 TD 🎸 And a 2011 60th anniversary USA Fender Telecaster 🎸 so I found a Traveler Speedster guitar on EBay for $190 and bought it, well it never showed up and the mailman handed me a piece of paper shipping label and then clicked on delivered for tracking. So no guitar no box no item at all. After appealing for a refund I was finally refunded from EBay. So I now found a Traveler Ultra Light Guitar on EBay for $220 and bought it and it was delivered to me 🎸 so now up to 4 guitars 🎸! I would be in guitar heaven 🎸🎸🎸if I could get 18 guitars at one time ! Keep on Rockin 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸Peace Spike 🎸🎸🎸
As a Hondo II and Firefly owner, I wasn't too keen on the cracks made at 5:22------The Big Boys have made a lot of dogs over the decades too----No Headstock Snobs! LOL!
I have just discovered this channel, I am very impressed. Great vibe, great editing music and of course the guitars and musical instruments. I watch a lot of music related shows on RU-vid, I really think you are on to something big. Seriously wowed.
Love to check out the channel, I live vicariously through your adventures lol. I’m still looking for a 5 string Schecter California Jazz, limited production number, made only in 2006, when your on Guitar Safari if you find one, it will instantly sold. Thanks Ric
Jaguars are a bit too complicated, from broken strings due to the bridge to tuning issues. The huge mount of different combinations you can get from the extra controls in the silver plates are a solid argument, but soometimes too many options may become a problem. In term of looks it's one of the best looking axes from Fender, big, outstanding and sophisticated. The tone you get from them and their sisters, the Jazzmasters, are very unique so it's an overall good option with proper adjustment (more than any regular guitar will ever need). You either love them or hate them, it's not for everyone like a strat, sg, les paul or a tele, it's more like explorers, cyclone or flying v: black an white with no shades in between
My son inherited a '67 J45 from his maternal grandfather. I have a special love for this guitar, as this man and i sang together for years, from the time i was a kid, he playing the J45, and me on my gibson dove copy and singing harmony. It is the most amazing guitar I've ever had in my hands, and I've been playing for over 40 years! I'm glad you put the J45 in the list. And your right... Nothing else in the world sounds like a J45!
The '68 Tele was definitely my favorite guitar at the show. I didn't play it because I didn't want to fall in love w it. My guitar collection is up to 17 and that seems a bit much for one guy. BTW, don't know if you remember the '74 Dove I got from you in Sarasota. I had a couple of tweaks done to it and it sounds and plays fantastic now. Love that guitar!
The KFC biscuit is unfortunately neither free or endless so it is exempt however is does get my seal of approval!! We have a running bit about Olive Garden at the shop, I (Alex) think I’m the only one who actually likes it 😂
YES YES YES, wake up and flash flood of gear has a new video, thats it everything stops for the next 20 min people, dont bother me im watching my fav guitar channel.
Show ain't a show without Flash Flood! It was great to see all the other dealers, they were so happy to see you, a real community. Alex, were you tempted to buy the telecaster with the Bigsby?
I can’t handle the narrow nut on the post-1956 J-45s. I have a ‘56. Amazing bold tone. Huge dynamic rage. Perfect balance and intonation. But a lot of electric players like the narrow but.
