yeah I cut the menu phases away. Solon uses his ult twice in a row because of PrimEX ultimate giving 50% ult charge, and afterward I charge the rest with a pet. Its a nice combo ;)

Depends on what you want. He makes lightning teams strong, basically, but they are not as powerful as Sword teams (yet), so if you only wanna chase meta-characters, you may not need Nivelle.

Basically just A4s from free characters and 4stars: Jorn A4, Yan Long A4, Yunnie A4, Tahir A4, Glossom A4, Gertrude A4 etc. and Heroic Emblem from Warrior tower. Most of them you get from farming the various job towers over time. The story doesn't give many useful ones, except the regen accessories and the dodge accessory you get in Agapea.

I have actually tried a comp using only general pool characters and no A4s. After two breaks I hadn't even done in 1/5th of her health so I might have to go for a different approach :/ She's got like 5 million or more, and without characters like Bargello, Solon, A2, Sazantos, Richard, Signa etc, it's quite a challenge. Heck its a challenge even using those characters.

@@EmpyreanSky Yeah I agree, after stuck there for 3 Days, fight other boss feels so easy, no sweat and only use minimum capacity of brain 😂 Don't forget post it, when u alrdy clear Gertrude EX 3 With gen pulls

@@Sabunmon69 IF I manage to clear it with gen pool units, even if it's like 99 turns, I'll post it. I swear this fight is probably the hardest one in the game atm.

I used Fortune weapon for the living enemies, Thorned weapon for the S.Odio fight and Brilliant weapon for whenever he needed to reach a higher damage cap. You can see the details of the souls at the end of the Graybeard, S.Odio and Sable Shadow Dragon fights respectively. I dunno if Linde is his best pet, but I like to use it for his 8-hit attack to get all them crits. If you use his 2-hit that guarantees critical it's probably better with another pet, but I'm too lazy to switch around. It's the setup that makes him do a lot of damage. You can pull off these numbers with pretty much any character if you got enough buffs/debuffs, good weapons and Solon on your team ;)

We are getting new characters on Octopath Day? :O I thought it was just summer reruns. Next 3 months will be nothing but reruns and maybe the cats, which I have no interest in. I'd like to go for Tiziano A0 and Kaine A4 U10. Other than that I don't have any concrete plans.

@@EmpyreanSky I'mma say this. Yes we're getting new characters this month. And they gave us Tavern Talk on Octopath Day for a REASON. And surprisingly, that reason isn't the Swimsuit girls. The great thing about this game is that it never runs out of tricks up their sleeves. If you want further details, you're gonna need to PM me.

No it is not necessary to even A1 them. Signa is more useful with her ultimate at lvl 10, but she works without too. To progress in Bestower of All you don't need the very best of characters, but you need some 5*s, good soul weapons and good strategy ;)

I am excited about the Overclass system. Once it comes back I'm gonna put the 4 stars to use again ;)

All my nuts are from the fully upgraded nut garden in nameless town. You get a few daily, but over time they pile up. Now I have so much I don't know what to do with it. Farming Auguste is not really necessary anymore because of the nut farm.

@@EmpyreanSky my pull was a many dups in 160 Scared Seal's 5 dups ( Cecily, Falco, Cardona, Viola and Heathcote ) and got Ex Primrose and Sertet. 50 free 2nd anniversary I got Ex Primrose dup and Yukis. 200 Pity Saz/Signa banner and got 3 dups ( molrusso, molo and Rinyuu) Signa and 2 dups same with Sazantos and 2 dups and MT selector bargello. Last 2 Veteran Traveler Lars and Cecily dup. I missing so many MT units but is good I got Ex Primrose and wait next 5 days for 50 free 2nd anniversary for selector Ex H'annit or Ogen. And yeah I got o.odio 300 rubies and run 😂

Nephti is one of the most versatile units in the entire game, so yeah she is worth a pity. She hits 3 weaknesses, has powerful buffs and can fit into nearly any team comp. I don't know many units that bring so much to the table in longer battles tbh. In super-short speed clears she might not get to shine, though.
