Wonderful! Progress report: Olberic and 9S join Lars and Therion as max level 100 units. Elite fragments are currently at 170 only six more till i reach 200 and can exchange for Cerna and Paula(though I've been thinking about saving until 300 so i can get Efrain and be done with it.) I've decided to buy the Rinyuu pack B just incase if i don't get her i can at least get a random five star for the veterans seal. Not only did i get her, i got her on the first pull for the paid step up. Once i get her to at least level 92 i'll start using her. After that i then proceeded to use the rest of the paid rubies on the Zenia paid banner, and i got her and Dorothea in my first pull there too. As for the veteran seal, it was W'ludai. Whom i saw you use in your fight with Idore. So i'm planning on at least getting her to level 92 before using her in convictions gameboard. Speaking of, I've decided to hold off on farming Tikilen gold guidestones to focus solely on convictions gameboard. And by doing so i was able to get Serenoa to A4. All that's left to do now is max level 10 his ultimate and get him to level 100. I know that he's a free unit, so he's probably not that great but seeing as how i was able to make 9S work for me for so long i'm pretty sure i can find some use for him. Any tips and advice for Serenoa?
Hahaha love these lengthy reports :3 Congrats on getting Rinyuu! I'm feeling more and more left behind, having ignored the temptation 😵 And Serenoa A4 is a really useful accessory so great job on getting that one! He is a great tank, very similar to Edea. Except that he can dish out a LOT more damage during breaks with his double cast ability. Serenoa can break 3 shields per turn if he just uses auto attack and provokes an enemy weak to sword. He is actually a very efficient breaker this way.
I've mentioned this previously in other content creators videos. Do you think it might be helpful to show where those accessories are coming from? I know a lot of them are obtained from the 4* units but I don't know which ones. For example, Cyrus has an Energy Bellt IV, I have no idea how to obtain the level 3 & 4 accessories. Maybe a table with who drops them might be a good idea to show (just a suggestion). I know most of the weapons are from the BOA storyline because they have "Hell" in their name. I really need to progress further into the storyline but I don't have tons of time to play. I really appreciate you showing your clear, hopefully, I can clear it with my subpar gear.
Yeah this could be a good idea for a video. I think f2player made a video about the 4 star accessories at least. I personally don't remember where all of this is from so (except the energy belt which is from the latest game board from one of the checkpoints, it just gives HP and SP) not sure if I am up for it. You don't need fortune or hell weapons or good gear to pull this off, but you may have to use more 5 stars to compensate if you want to beat the 10 turn timer. I made a 6 turn clear of Varkyn long before soul weapons existed so you could check out that. It features more 5 stars though.
Addenum: Can you give me your thoughts on the my team comp for convictions gameboard? Front: Olberic A3 100(Once W'ludai is at level 92 i intend to switch him out for her as while his defend does take the load off my other units his 3-5 hit spear proves to be unreliable when trying to break Idore.) Therion A2 L100 Cyrus A2 L93 Lars A3 L100 Back: H'aanit A0 L92 Ophilia A3 L94 Sofia EX A4 L95 9S A1 L100 If your wondering why there not in the previous comment it's because something wired happened while i was typing it out there. I am not the best theorycrafter out there so I struggle to visualise how it plays out. For what I can understand this looks like a team that can easily kill Idore at +10. Olberic's defend is definitely handy to deal with the early RNG so I think you can play around that You can probably do without the 4 backline units, and rather bring characters that boost your frontline for a quicker clear . Lynette, Frederica, Laura (with Varkyn A4) and Eliza comes to mind as character that will help your fire element.
@@EmpyreanSky I don't know which comment to reply to so i'll just reply to this one with both answers in mind. Sorry for the confusion. I don't have Eliza and my Varkyn is not at A4 let alone A1. But my Laura is at max level 80 and A3( I can get her to A4 but i need more memory shards first) and my Frederica is at base level 80 and i don't have enough gold guidstones to get her to level 92. Sofia and Ophilia are there for support and healing as i'm doing the gameboard at max difficulty(and increasing the enemy strength to at least 8 to get soem extra chips to exchange) and 9S is there to provide extra damage and to give Lars time to recover SP. I should also tell you that my equipment ATM is not up to par. And i haven't beaten chapter 3 of boa yet. Would replacing H'aanit and 9S with Lynette and Serenoa suffice? The former can be used to buff my frontline as you said and the latter as you stated in the previous comment can act as a great tank who can dish out a lot of damage. Maybe he could even help take some of the load off of Olberic?
@@ok-ue4ub You have a different approach than me here which works for you, and that is perfectly fine. I think you should continue that route and trust your experience. I can't say right off the bat if replacing Haunt and 9S with Lynette and Serenoa would make much of a difference. My example earlier were more in line of maximising damage output. But when going for that you kinda need to go all out, and if you lack in equipment and character options to do so, you might as well play it safe. Go with what works! :)
