Dash and Karisa here! Living in Northern Minnesota means that our car season is short lived but it gives us plenty of time to prepare for the coming year. Cars, bikes, shenanigans. Come with us as we modify our cars, go to car shows, track days, rally’s and everything else that we love!

Was it on any type of EMS to where you could pull the log and see what RPM it actually hit? That’s always the fun part about a money shift; finding out how high they actually spun the engine. 😂 Best I’ve seen is a a high comp NA H2B setup in time attack car that hit a little over 13k on a setup built for a ~9200 RPM rev limit.
Yeah 😂 snapped a valve in half and locked up the motor. That’s what happened when she slowed down and let the clutch back out. It’s got a K24 in it now.
She is not ready to be on a track. She missed shifts in the GR86 as well. The fact that she doesn’t know she shifted wrong and crashed your car 🤦♂️🤦♂️
thanks for the vid.. I need to to do this on the driver side. I usually put spare change in the bottle holder area and it seems that some coins slipped into the inside of the panel lol. I can hear then rattle when I open the door.
so I definitely didn't add enough adhesive as I got in the car today and some of the suede was drooping dow and I already have my starts up . I didn't like the way it came out with my stars it was poor organization on my part, but now since its drooping should I just take the suede off and hope it doesn't look too bad ?
I couldn’t honestly tell you because we don’t drive the car very hard anymore as it is mainly for show and we track other vehicles. I know that a lot of people swear by master cylinder braces since they can flex quite a bit under hard braking. Unless you do a lot of hard braking on spirited drives or on track, I feel like any noticeable difference would be negligible.
why in the f was the car not controlled after the money shift? like wtf i’m lost how she managed to crash afterwards. first thing i would do is slow down and pull over ?
She slowed quite a bit and when she let out the clutch the motor seized (dropped valve)and locked up the rear tires causing the car the jerk which is what you hear. The rear of the car is gutted out so you hear the tires picking up rocks as she’s pulling off track. No way to really prepare for something like this until it happens and hindsight is 20/20.
I’ve done 3 and haven’t had any issue with them pulling out. I give each one a gentle pull before cutting to make sure I touch up any that are still loose. Cutting them after putting the headliner back in would be another way of making sure everything stays where you want it.
