This is an amazing tutorial! I figured this method out on my own through pure trial and error. Only difference is that I comb the conditioner and the leave in product into my hair. It helps elongate the hair better than just your fingers. I also keep a bottle of rose water on me to spritz it throughout the day. Awesome video!

I love this... so many products out here confusing people, we need someone to give us actual facts! For example, what exactly is a pre-poo treatment and why is everyone telling the community to do it 😂😂
@uberhaute_naturalz84
@uberhaute_naturalz84 4 дня назад
There are different types of Prepoo treatment but the two I have benefited and still benefit from are 1. Coconut Oil 2. African Pride Prepoo. While I use the first one when I need to seriously condition my hair, I use the second one to detangle my hair and I do these two before entering the shower. I spray my hair with warm water till it's damp then I apply the coconut oil, cover it with a shower cap, sit under the dryer or allow my body heat for like 3 hours. I also apply the Prepoo to detangle after lightly misting my hair with water and it helps detangle all knots.

Light bulb moment! Thank you for this. I was using gel year round for my wash and gos until I noticed my hair was not behaving the same and was drying out. I just realized the dryness was happening during the winter months. I switched to a cream and it improved immediately. Now I know, and understand, what was happening. ❤

Gorgeous hair and love the simple routine! Question - what is the best way to trim curly textures? Blow it out first, or trim it wet and curly? Sorry if you have covered this before.

You just done scared me!!!. I flat ironed ( first time in years) my hair last night 3 passes on each section to look how is wanted it. Uh uh😢 Yes. I used a heat protector. Oh Lord!
@sable7114
@sable7114 6 дней назад
I have never flat ironed my natural hair before or for that matter my hair in any state. I would like to try a straight style for some occasion but don't even know what kind of flat iron would be the best to get and whether or not protein treatments are required before flat ironing. I do have an electric hot comb but I don't think there's a temperature setting on it. what would be preferable, a hot comb, a flat iron, or a straightening brush

Guys I promise! My shrinkage is real I have shoulder-length hair and was having so much anxiety about detangling so I wear wigs however one day I used “AUSSIE 3 min conditioner I can not believe how my hair was manageable and the curl pattern set in and now I allow my hair to freestyle.

OMG!!! People please please LISTEN to this man…. I have watched endless wash-and-go routines that took hours to achieve nothing. I tried Mr. Anthony’s daily regimen to prove him wrong (in my head) but IT CHANGED MY HAIR L.I.F.E. Yall unlearn what you have been taught and try this. And remember to shake after your styling product is applied. 😊

This happened to me as well and I figured out that the problem was every product I was using had PROTEIN!! So protein in the conditioner, protein in the leave in, protein in the styling products - let me tell you - in two weeks my hair was getting dry and brittle! Check your product ingredients. If you are stacking products with protein and your hair is sensitive to protein, then it can be disastrous. I carefully read ingredients and avoid protein overload. Hair is thriving with the Dickey method. Hope this helps someone.

That is funny Dickey thats just as bad as when i hear them say the product has a good slip which means nothing if u do not have the credentials to tell me how to take care of natural hair (my natural hair) Dickey has taken a method that has been around for awhile perfected it and made it his own and taken it further (the grading system). Just like fashion repeats itself and people redo it and make it their own dickey has done that. He's a bad man in this game. Thank u Dickey❤❤

I’m soooo glad that he said to use a Rinse Out Conditioner and then add the Deep Conditioner. I saw a natural hair RU-vidr say that she goes directly into Deep Conditioner (no Rinse about Conditioner) she said that it’s useless and a waste of Time, Money, and Product and that the hair would get more conditioner if you skip the Rinse Out) so I tried it because it did seem logical, but my hair did NOT like it…(dry as can be), so I went back to Rinse Out Conditioner and Derp Conditioner. THANKS for posting.
