Neverwinter was desperately in need of new devs and new leadership. Maybe they put smbdy there witch is listening to players needs. And not do the same mistakes ever and ever, its not death (jet) and atm we have middle/end of a mod. Usually less ppl online. I still have hopes for improvements😊 buut when craptic still rules then its goodnight i guess.
I wish Arelith wasn't described as being an MMO because the game Neverwinter Nights itself is not. It's a CRPG from 2001 with singleplayer and multiplayer capabilities based off the 3.5 ruleset for dungeons and dragons released at that time. The developers released a toolset for running dungeons and dragons games as a dm and building singleplayer/multiplayer modules, which the persistent world of Arelith is. They're meant to be played in the spirit of Dungeons and Dragons, so there's also an expectation that if you play on the server, you're going to be in character and roleplaying at all times while logged on and playing with others, unlike other games presented in this video. You also don't have to pay to play, like you do with World of Warcraft or many of the other MMORPGs featured on this list.
In a way, I share your opinion, I like the style of bethesda games. But it's a Bethesda style that has become or always has been redundant, even in the RP part.

Guildwars may have a secret roleplaying community.. I never found a single member of it when I tried it for 6 months.... heck I found very few other players to do things with most of the time in the open world. Eve online is NOT roleplaying, its Spread Sheets and Trade Cartels in a game where in game currency and real world currency flow back and forth.
Flawed. There is very little roleplaying in World of Warcraft these days... I don't think you actually know what a roleplaying game is or done any to have the sorts of opinions this video suggests. There is a difference between an Action MMO and true roleplaying, and most of these games are combat Action MMOS, all about mechanics and not about personalities, relationships etc. Many of them rarely involve much player cooperative play these days on a regular basis (they used to in some cases, decades ago, but the designers and the corporations changed all of that for esports and money to win).

Lol😂not dead now that's one huge lie lol now Neverwinter is dead on PC and ps but on Xbox it is very alive and players are spending big money how I know I play Xbox and that is the one console to convert ad to zen in second because there spending money and yes the game is a zombie it's up but it's dead lol tell the truth I advise everyone to try new mmo like throne of liberty and poe because the new games are very alive good luck to my Neverwinter players
I will be surprised if they turn this decline around for PlayStation console. PS Console players are getting better games to invest their time in than Neverwinter.
Jogo Neverwinter no PC e sempre vejo novos jogadores no jogo. Em horários de pico há 18 instâncias abertas no PE, mais 8 em Mount Houtenow e 3 a 4 em WildSpace, levando em conta que o ultimo módulo foi lançado há bastante tempo e que muitos players abusaram de bugs na nova dungeon o que permitiu que estes nao permanecessem no jogo por mais tempo é algo surpreendente que o jogo ainda possua esses números. Quando o módulo novo sair a maioria dos players que so Logan para pegar a key do vip e refinar AD irão permanecer mais no jogo, é o que sempre acontece.
A lot of players on PC bypass the launchers entirely. When I was using Windows as my OS, I never used the ARC or Steam launchers. I always launched directly from the exe file in the Neverwinter folder. So those numbers are not accounted for as well.
As a Dungeons and Dragons fan in general and Neverwinter fan in particular, I sincerely hope Neverwinter doesn't end anytime in the near future. Neverwinter now and forever! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
Neverwinter just needs a bit of advertisement. Like imagine they get into one of those game show ads like "state of play" or "gamescom" one of those, and the game will get a boom. I'm sure they can handle that risk (pay)
All devs was fired, and but new devs are replacing them and the studio is moving to wurope. Since the old devs was bis only private preview friends are always right this could be a good thing
SWG is, in my opinion, the best game ever created. Having said that it is one of the first MMOs I have tried and it was around university days, so it is connected with some of my happiest memories in life. The way you could make your character completely unique with skills you love instead of just min-maxing (that was also possible) and the way you could be part of a community that actually mattered and respected each other, is something I have not seen in any other game at this level. A player would have to create a city area where people would get permission to place their houses and declare them for city taxes. The player/Mayor would then get exp as a mayor and advance it learning new skills and placing new buildings, and extend the radius of the city. Place guild calls and make them part of that city.. it was simply amazing. I loved this game tot he point that If i was a millionaire Id get permission to remake this game with renewed graphics but same style... Pre-NGE
You are showing the life skill of bartering/trading in BDO, where you go and sell materials to NPC's. This has nothing to do with the economy or the auction house. BTW 35% tax on everything you sell in the Auction House in BDO and it is NOT regional. Good luck working with those margins, it's basically impossible.
