i was in the direct path of the main part of the storm in belleville east end and it decimated us but didnt last very long maybe 15 minutes and it was gone and moved along to another area took them almost 2 days to get power back to home
I think by the time I turned the cam that direction it had already crossed the highway. Likely was just rear flank winds behind the circulation with all that debris.
Destroyed my cottage on Huron Sands below the bluff in Kingsbridge/Kintail. Demolished 3 barns: MacDonald's, Simpson's and Frayne's new pig barn. Unimaginable. Got the call at 2030 hrs. EF2 took out my cottage at 1630 hrs just before this was filmed. No injuries or worse. I arrived on 8th. No access via roads. 20+ trees down on my property. Cottage: flattened. Contents, all over. Still trying to absorb the enormity of this 'airborne octopus'!
Always sad to see the damage left behind from these severe events. Sorry to hear about your cottage but thankfully there were no injuries or fatalities. I certainly won't forget this day.
Yes. Multiple satellite tors wrapped around the main vortex. Came ashore between Kingsbridge and Belgrave Rd. I was INSIDE that near the farm that was destroyed.
September 7th ehh. On that date here in northern Michigan we had an unconfirmed tornado. The weather people say that it was only straight line winds, but we have hundreds of trees blown down in multiple directions and many twisted off their stumps. It was scary.
Strengthening weather patterns.. right now there is 6 inches of snow on the ground here and there's a severe thunderstorms marching off to the South. I can see the lightning and I hope that shit stays to the South too! We still haven't recovered from the tornado and the damage that caused.
