Muggy day in Ontario sparks widespread severe storms. I chased storms in Durham Region and particularly this supercell that showed rapid rotation north of Brooklin. Wasn't sure if damage was from a tornado or just strong RFD but other chasers confirmed ground circulation. Damage in the Highway 12 and Duffs Rd area was relatively minor. This was later confirmed as an EF-0 tornado

i was in the direct path of the main part of the storm in belleville east end and it decimated us but didnt last very long maybe 15 minutes and it was gone and moved along to another area took them almost 2 days to get power back to home

I think by the time I turned the cam that direction it had already crossed the highway. Likely was just rear flank winds behind the circulation with all that debris.

Where I was the rain was coming down very heavy and when the amber alert went off at my school everyone started panicking.
