After what I learned about milk temperature which normally used for latte. I am now afraid of heating milk over 65°C. Turkish coffee somehow the temperature is near boiling point.

Why is there is so much checking in Egypt...so so much monitoring...people were decent...but not on main Street ones, but that's understandable since they were the say greedy ones everywhere it's like that in the world... But monitoring, checking... If this increases, it will be like what heard of North Korea

You do not need to use Crisco for good father, that stuff is poison, you can use butter and it will turn out just fine, you can use ghee and it will turn out better than the one in the video. Feteer isn't supposed to be healthy, but hydrogenized oil pastes don't just give you diabetes, you will also end up with a third lung

Is this traditional? We have something in the USA called Rice-A-Roni which is very much the same thing.
@MiriamzKitchen
@MiriamzKitchen 5 месяцев назад
Yes, it's almost a staple in each meal. Egyptian meals usually consist of either this rice or balady bread and some sort of vegetable stew with or without meat. 😊

Do you think it can work with wholemeal flour?
@MiriamzKitchen
@MiriamzKitchen 6 месяцев назад
I don't think it would work as well. This recipe needs gluten, and wholemeal flour has less gluten than regular bleached white flour. 🤔
