EST in 2009 we are a Motorcycle Dyno and Performance Speed Shop, we tune directly to the ECM’s to run with whatever modifications you have. We install cams, big bores, throttle bodies and heads and we build the drivetrain to suit. We also customize Harley Davidson‘s, victories and Indian motorcycles. We are motorcycle builders and fabricators. We build big wheel baggers and wide wheel baggers and everything in between. We also, because of the North Dakota winters, are a motorcycle storage facility. Located in West Fargo North Dakota.
2018 Breakout 114, Compensator exploded at 4,000 miles. That compensator looks like it was cast in sand (junk pot metal). AND THEY EXPECT THAT TO TURN THE SPROCKET! HARLEY, please redesign.
The Harley V twin engine is an industrial design masterpiece. Maybe keeping an antiquated but iconic design still in production means sacrificing reliability. But you would think with modern manufacturing technology they could improve tolerances and build quality. Or maybe it’s all by design to keep dealers and independent shops in business. The collateral damage is of course the bike owners that are removed from their bikes for weeks at a time while in the shop, only to pay a small fortune to get them back.
PLEASE don’t listen to these clowns. Read your service manual. 35Lbs is the bearing set torque, then you back it off and set the INCH POUND final setting. I hope these two haven’t ruined too many expensive Harleys.
Excellent video, my friend needs to change hid drive belt on his 2015 Freewheeler and I imagine it's the same stuff. Thanks for your time, very helpful.
We’ve had great success with people people really like the ride. It’s a little bit different and out here in North Dakota things are pretty flat and straight but we do have lake country and that gives you great twisting highways.
@@ppmotorcycles That is great...and thanks for replying so quickly👍 Im assuming that the wide tire kit (180) is everything that you hoped it would be?...No negitive issues?
@@ppmotorcycles BTW... North Dakota is one of the 3 states I sadly addmit that I have never had time to visit. Im going to try though to change that within the next 2yrs...👍😎🇺🇸
The M8 is a POS. It is plagued with mechanical landmines just waiting to explode. I purchased a 2017 CVO SG with the 114 M8. Transmission failed at 2K miles on the OD. At around 5K the water pump failed and the head gaskets started leaking. At around 6K the front wheel bearings went bad. Rode the bike from Victoria TX to TN and NC. While on the Tail of the Dragon the oil pump blew up causing catastrophic engine failure. In each case the bike had to be towed to the dealership for repairs. I sold the POS as soon as I returned and went back to a 14 Twin Cam 103 Road King. This my second Rushmore Twin Cam 103. No issues. M8’s suck ass.
