Thanks for your feedback! I understand that zoomed-in borders can be distracting. We appreciate your thoughts and will consider this for future presentations to enhance the viewing experience!
We understand that high-end gear can seem costly, but the technology and craftsmanship involved often reflect the price. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Not sure why my first comment from yesterday does not show up but there is an error in the video, I think. The new camera is not lighter than the normal Q3. It's the other way around.
Thank you for the video. But I admit I am always a bit dumbfounded when I see people putting their $13,000 lenses on concrete and I’m particularly talking about the foot without anything in between it and the floor. I guess I’m just much more protective but I always have a plate on mine cause I’d much rather replace the $30 plate than a $200 plus foot.
The Leica Q3 performs impressively in low light, thanks to its fast f2 aperture and advanced sensor technology. The camera’s excellent high ISO performance helps capture detail and reduce noise, making it a solid choice for low-light situations.
France has really strict rules about publishing photos of people without their consent, if they are recognisable in the photo. How did you do for this video?
You're right-France has strict privacy laws regarding publishing recognisable photos of individuals without consent. For this video, we ensure compliance with local regulations by obtaining necessary permissions or filming in public spaces where consent isn't required under specific conditions. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your feedback! While we aim to showcase products we believe in, we also strive to keep our content informative and engaging. Appreciate you watching.
Hello! All of the images are taken with the Leica Q3 43mm lens :) No other camera was used to photograph. The video is shot on the A7S III with the G master primes :)
@@paulchiu The video performance was good! I would say it's definitely more of a stills camera but perfectly suitable for videoing for fun or for socials
Yes, you can generally use the Manfrotto MVG 460 as a standard gimbal with most cameras, even if they're not on the compatibility list. However, advanced features like camera control might not work, so manual operation would be necessary. Always good to check the weight limit and balance properly.
You're right-cropping in post generally provides better image quality since digital zoom often reduces resolution. Digital zoom can be convenient for quick framing!
It's nice for a 7+ years old Sensor (MFT 17 MP from Panasonic) a 10 year old lens design (2014, Leica 24-75mm equiv. F1.7-2.8 Vario-Summilux), but a new body, new firmware, new EVF, updated rear LCD, and Leica Q3 menu style. It's fine, but the new 25 MP Panasonic MFT Sensor with C-AF and also a D-Lux 8 body with weather sealing, and best new designed 24-75/1.7-2.8 lens could make this camera so much better, especially for 1650 EUR. Contrast detect AF is much slower, than it could be - vs phase detect AF. /edit fixed typo :)
Great insights! The updated body and features are definitely a step forward, but it’s true that newer tech like a phase-detect AF system and improved weather sealing could take the D-Lux 8 to the next level. Your point about the aging sensor and lens design is spot on-there’s always room for innovation.
This new Leica Q3 43 does cost 6.750 EUR in germany. Honestly, you could create fine photographs with *any* camera, composition wise. My cheapest kit is fullframe, comes with a 40mm prime, and costed me less than 200 bucks together, into mint condition. A total difference, compared to it's original price, bought also back into the heyday - but it's always nice, to have a backup. No social insecurities - ever. 🙂
I would wonder - what this Q3 43 could do into the hands of Allan Schaller....remember, it's never the gear, it's the person behind the lens. Allan is one of the best, if not the best nowadays, in terms of street photography, for real.
While his style may seem cliché now, it’s because he helped define street photography and photojournalism. Many of the techniques and approaches we see today stem from his groundbreaking work.
People give themselves the name of street photographer even before starting taking photos in the streets.. Bruce Gilden, true inspiration to many in street photography and its personal style on approaching people. Hope he can get more money to travel and continue creating new projects and photos he has in his mind!
Tomorrow morning, am going to go and take pictures of an old post office, I am a newbie and this will be my first time taking pictures with a real camera outside my bed seater apartment.. Hope it goes well 😊
2:20 I actually know the guy he photographed in front of the NYPL, he’s a street photographer as well. Most of the time he travels around the city on a scooter and he has a backpack on with at least one camera on him. Wish I knew his name but I’ll show him this when I see him
How does he get away with it, look at him and then look at me, that's why, he is a white male. I am a person of color. I have many examples, too many while I was on the job and doing street photography of me being stopped or questioned. His photography is awesome,
The GH7 definitely delivered strong performance, but the S5II’s shift to phase-detect autofocus was a big move for Panasonic. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
We’ll keep that in mind for future content and make sure to showcase the benefits of specific apertures like f/2.8 more clearly. Thanks for your feedback!
