Ben, did you manage to sit down and try LMU since that ranking? I decided to take advantage of last days of entry price offer and within an hour of installing, after sorting out basic settings and controls, I was in a full lobby of ranked GTE race. Amazingly simple, plug-and-play experience with active playerbase and top notch driving physics. I think I'm going to be spending a lot of time in that sim in the near future.
uuh, thank you for the cover image, by the way, i'm just tired to see people ruin race like this, for the money i'm paying the service, because that was my 4th race ruined at turn 1 in the same way. i loose my mind ok, but iracing never report idiot moves like the green mclaren, and someone never gets a severe penalty for those crashes like in t1 in this case. So my move it was completely crazy, i agree, but is the only way to give a real lesson, because reports doesn't work, unless it's an obiouvs intentinal wreck. Bye 👋
I tend to watch a video mire if the op talks through their races. I don't particularly care if it's live or after the fact. If they go through long periods of not talking, I'm likely to turn it off, as well if they have an arcadey approach, swear or talk negatively a lot. I tend to like certain types of cars. Slower yet challenging to drive cars make closer and therefore more interesting racing IMO, like Mx5, GT3, not F1, F 3, LMP. Also I like vids where they raced against others that I also like to watch. Like, Megumei and Weekend Warriors on GSRC.
Rfactor 2 has the best a.i. You can actually set their mistake level on a global level and individually, so they don't race like tow line robots, they actually make loads of mistakes and big ones if you want. And up to 60-70 ai in a race, perfect for multiplayer with friends.
Iracing is the n64 rscing title hands down. Gfx are that of a 1992 starfox. I can see why the company endorsed pro drivers begging for their vote. They knew noone would fall victim otherwise
@@Ben_LaBroca Me too! Your race inspires me to give Le Mans a go on in the McLaren! I had been practicing in the Merc but found the Macca to be equally quick and more user friendly 😄
@@Ben_LaBroca Thanks alot bud!, I'm always so impressed with the stellar quality of your vids and how easy it is to just... watch, honestly a unique vibe, keep crushing it man!
Do you remember how I said Monza in GT3 was terrible for me last week? Well Le Mans has been super nice to me. I've done more than enough races at Le Mans in iRacing that I know where the dangerzones are and every liberty I can take with the track. No wins so far this week. But multiple podiums and every race as resulted in posetive iRating and SR so I'm very happy.
I am Jesus Bermudez, for me it was a disaster race! 😂 In addition to the first accident that you show at minute 7:40 which I couldn't avoid, another driver braked in front of me in the Porsche curve in an unpredictable way and that's where my race ended, you had a very good race! congratulations 😀
Ah hey Jesus! Always love it when people find themselves in the videos - although sorry to hear you had a disaster! So many of those incidents are luck in terms of being in the right place at the right time. Hope you have better fortune in the future!
Genuinely, this is my fav type of race content and it does make it really engaging to watch (because it's high effort and good presentation). @@Ben_LaBroca thanks for what you do, love the racing
Everyone should at least try Raceroom. Im very impressed with it in Sept 2024. The AI is terrific after you get it trained and VR maybe the best yet. SSAA8 made is sing on a 4090 using virtual desktop VDXR.
For offline driving, the choice is only between ams2 and rf2. Ams2 has become so good that I have put rf2 down completely. I'm waiting for rf3, and until then I'm sitting at REIZA. The driving pleasure is amazing.
When i race in open lobby . I always remember people accident can happen but if took someone out gave position is always nice. People must race in open lobby as they race in private league
Really since an iRacing subscriber never really "owns" any content that is usable without an active subscription it would probably be better to be able to buy a "Season Pass" for the different series a racer wanted to participate in that included access to all of the cars and the tracks for that series for the current season with nothing additional needed to purchase. Price the packages reasonable enough that a racer wanting to participate say in 3 different series would not have sticker shock in the amount of outlay to be able to participate. I expect something like this would keep more players coming back multiple years than feeling like every year they have to not only pay for new tracks or maybe a more current car but the subscription cost as well.
Attempts at intentional wrecking rarely go without a victim. More often than not there are innocent victims because one self absorbed loser lost his 💩. It is sad that many resort to this online. In real life i dont think they would think that is a good idea.
It’s been hell of a week… or should I say, a week of hell 😅 I’ve raced Toby Clark this week. We must have just missed each other mate. Hopefully, see you on track soon.
Congratulationso on the podium! But how ridiculous that the driver wins, who took out three cars before T1 of lap 1. Are there no penalties applied at iRacing after the race, perhaps through a report? And what are the chances that the Ferrari driver gets banned in iRacing?
revenge hits should absolutely be penalized, lucky he didn't take anyone else out, but the green and black car to me is the real antagonist. it is so obvious they missed their braking point and was going to crash and made zero attempt to avoid a crash and hit three cars. that should be grounds for a penalty imo for not even attempting to avoid a crash and using the car ahead as an extra brake.
