So, these left the factory with straight-pipes? Why was that? Was it deemed to be acceptably refined and cheaper than fitting silencers? Even in the 1950s I would have expected it to have some kind of silencing.
It is a beautifully restored car. Just one minor point. The boot is from a mark 1. The mark 2 had a horizontal handle. But I love the car. Wanna sell it to me?
Thanks Paul, I realised the handle was wrong after purchase and never got round to altering it. And sorry, I sold the car 8 years ago. ( and bought another A40)
At 1:20- "about to be SCRAPPED". That really saddened me. These wonderful buses are full of character, unlike the boring, soulless 'tin boxes' that today's buses are.
Take me back to the FUTURE when Buses were fun and a joy to travel on' Bus crews were there for your health n safety Going to work' college ' school' or Days out ' the old buses were your FAVOURITE ' 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐
Some comments suggest it was 1972-74, but I don't have any evidence apart from what you can see. Are you the Dave Gosling who drove for Stagecoach and retired a few years back?
I have never heard of a bus called a Burka. There were Guy Arabs however.Or was that a snide remark about Muslim Women? Do you object to white women wearing face masks as well? Just a thought
Just sticking the stock antennas out the side case was a HUGE improvement. My fpv range was extended nearly double what I used to get. I'm waiting for my cloverleaf antennas to arrive. UPDATE I dont notice any difference with the cloverleaf at all.
Just finished the up grade to my jjrc x5 epik . The fpv wifi was my only problem with this drone. With this set up I doubled my not only distance but quality. Thanks for making it so easy!
Takes me back. My dad drove one of these from the late sixties until 1976, a mark 2, registration plate 2093RU. The engine was sound but the body was a rust bucket. Every year, dad borrowed next door's power sander to remove rust, fill with plastic padding, paint with red oxide and spray. The boot lid was a particular problem area.
Just done mine last night was easy enough.then I upgraded the antennas as the ones on controller are fake.waiting on good weather now.i will post results here
Many of these earlier older relics placed drivers into early retirement regarding absent power steering and rock hard rigid seating, uncomfortability and pain must of been excruciating.
After driving old Bristol FLFs and old Leylands with "conker" boxes, the arrival of VRTs, Leyland Natioals and Tigers was a blessing. Too late for my back, how the chiropractor rakes in the money!!!
Cheap rip-off of Omnibus UK Archive, a commercially-available DVD which runs for over an hour. Isn't it clever to steal someone else's work, aplit it into two halves and wait for fools to drool over how clever you are. It's a major reason why this type of video is no longer produced. You get a free 6 minutes#s worth. The cost is all the rest you might have been able to buy. Congratulations all!
Range on an modified drone is always dependent on local conditions but the antenna mos definitely helps. If you have the AD card fitted in the camera it will continue to record even if it looses connection with your phone. If there's no SD card in the camera then footage is recorded directly onto your phone and will interup recording if you loose signal.
