I love this truck . It’s been a favorite and is great as is with a 3s battery , 5200 man ovionics fits perfect , $35. It’s $250 right now . I wish the typhon was $250 I d jump on this if I didn’t have one working awesome already
I just bought my ARRMA Granite the other day and did the Shoe Goo upgrade and let me tell you it does save the body . I have done the upgrade to my Vorteks and it saves my body
This truck is awesome. Shims for the wheels if there’s wiggle are excellent . Did it to the kratons wheels . The little shims that go behind the wheel pin and set on the outer wheel bearing . Perfect 👍
hi. my a979b accidentally soaked in a flooded area. now its not working. the battery light is on but there's no contact. seems dead. everything is not functioning.please help.thanks
I have the regular brushed that goes 35+, and i have the VXL with tsm. And the difference is insane. But my wife drives the 2wd brushed system, and that's enough speed for her. How did you guys get the wheelie bar to fit. It fits my 2wd, but the trans on the VXL is of a slightly different shape.

How easy is it to install the upgraded servo? I'm just getting into RC cars. I'm very handy and have all the tools needed, but im just curious how in depth of an install it is? If it's a simple plug and play im confident i can do it. If there's tuning involved, I may need guidance.
Why would you want tires with more ballooning when that just rubs on the body more? Might want to consider installing extended wheel hubs to give it more clearance in this case.

I have the original bandit I got 3 yrs ago & I recently gave it a major transformation I added the velineon vxl system I run it on 3s the lipo I'm using the hoo vo & let me clue ya this thing rips like hell but the down fall is I can't find a decent set of road tires for speed runs cus I went through 3 packs of anacondas which is they suck ass other than that I'm impressed with my bandits performance & it looks badd ass with the new light kit 🤘
I think it will be awesome for a speed car!! I love my off-road trucks, but all of us need something fast to run on pavement from time to time. I am thinking about buying this soon! It doesn’t seem as popular as other Traxxas Vehicles, but it’s looks amazing!!
Was gonna snag this for my first rc car but instead went for the rtr tlr typhon 6s can't wait until it arrives im sure I'll break it quick as I'm new at this hobby
I agree the best 1/10th Scale 4x4 3s monster truck out there it's fast and very durable it is a blast to run. only 2 things went wrong #1the bolt that holds the wheel & tire on came losse The granite is a SUPER BEAST INSANE MT I LOVE THE NO DADDY HAVING POWER PLAYER TRAXXAS BETTER WATCh Out the BEAST is coming 4 BLOOD SUCKERS.🤬😎🤪🤐😜🤟✌️🖕🖕💪💪💪☠️🤔😈💀
I forgot you've seen Kevin Talbot launch off the trunk of a tree to do a Baackflip i tried it but instead of backflipping my granite climed up the redwood tree about 14 feet It was epic i love this truck😎🤬👍🤪😜🤟✌️🖕
No mention of the gears needing replacement 😢 that is a must with this monster. As soon as you put this beast on 100% it blows the gears and strips the tires right off, every real BLX 3s Granite owner nows this so I'm guessing this was a good guess as to what you needed to upgrade and you hadn't run it yet
That’s crazy talk only the LWB and 4s I don’t know what the heck you guys do . I probably had 200 packs before I changed the ring and pinion on the original granite , I just rebuilt it today and used the one from the brcc because on 4s you can strip it eventually but it’s super cheap and you guys are better off changing it with the carrier and new bearings from a wholesale. Once you start extending adding power and rotating mass than you could use the steel gears , I’m on the fence adding mx28s .
