Still loving my brushed bandit, but want a vxl on 4in buggy wheels. While it has weak points, I love the chassis. I built an integy rustler 2wd that I consider my favorite rc.
I think it will be awesome for a speed car!! I love my off-road trucks, but all of us need something fast to run on pavement from time to time. I am thinking about buying this soon! It doesn’t seem as popular as other Traxxas Vehicles, but it’s looks amazing!!
Well ready to run in the RC world just means that it comes pre-assembled and comes with a radio and all the electronics. It doesn't mean it comes with a battery, though occasionally some vehicles do. Thanks for watching! 👍
I have and stampede vxl 2wd and is soo EPIC!!! Bot some bat tinks is the servo and driver shaft bot i buy and integry metal driver shaft and is and beas!
I have a castle creations sidewinder laying around that was in my old short course truck. I thought about picking up the brushed version of this in a few months and just immediately swapping in the castle esc and motor. I would think It would be just as strong as this one or maybe stronger. It will have to wait since I just bought an x maxx and batteries for it.
@@kylerappelwickgaming479 Well, it isn't the most durable Traxxas ever made, it's not meant for a really hardcore bash, but in my few months of owning it, it's taken some hits. It's great in the dirt and on the track, though off-roading in grass is pretty much impossible since it's 2wd. Overall it's a great car! 👍
you should try swapping electronics from the granite to this and check if this better, and use the vxl electronics in the arrma, it would be cool to see which one performs better
@@airbornerc4654 Yep, the bandit is really fun, me personally, i'd get some bandit "rear" tires and put them on the front because I don't really like different sized wheels but that's just me, and BTW, can you guys please make a discord server

Surprisingly you won't need to do alot to go 100mph on the bandit. Just upgrade the esc, lower it and maybe if you want to you could do shafts, otherwise it'll do it fairly easy
Good video. I stood in HobbyTown today looking at these (and Slashes and Rustlers!) and walked out with nothing but my $700! Couldn't make up my mind! Knoxville HobbyTown is stocked to the roof! What would you buy with Sleepy Joe Bidens money? I have that style battery hold down on my 1984 gold pan RC10!

I'm not a traxxas fan but in order to not break daily, the 4x4 slash I have has lower control arms, shocks, and an 1/8th scale motor + Esc. I did however change the gears after the motoro upgrade so it flips if given full throttle. The wheelie bar doesn't stop it. Kept the stock servo (u don't want a fast servo at high speeds anyways). But after all that... My Arrma Senton is 10x more durable and fun to drive, and almost everything is stock. It's the only truck I have that can take crash after crash & not constantly break. I would buy another b4 anything else
@@airbornerc4654 for 2wd I have a Losi 22, everything is TLR upgraded... but it's not a great basher at all... it handles amazing tho. But after seeing this and the price you mentioned, it's definitely something I'm thinking about getting and putting some paddles on the back. The body style on it is growing on me a lil. Nice video
Traxxas batteries are usually best, though we use a Venom LiPo with an adapter on it. I'd say the Traxxas ID or Venom Pro chargers should be good for charging, too. Thanks commenting 👊👍

Bruh .. this thing was so dang flimsy i didnt even run it once. U turn right back to the store. Guess after buying the $400 car $120 charger and still needing the $120+ battery the value is NOT there. Buy the motor build a car around it. This thing was such a disappointment. 70mph is so sketchy in that. Better get a bigger fin. How it stays on the ground idk. Its sooooo light
