The sect MUSLIM and all other SECTS have always been present from the very beginning. They did not originate at any given time. When we hear the ayaats from Al Qura'an, it is just the reminder to people, and the spirit is already inside us. The remembrance/truth of Allah has been in us from before.
میرا ایک سوال ہے شاید یہ صاحب دے سکیں کہ قرآن میں الفاظ صلوہ صوم ، زکواہ اور حج ہیں،۔ ان الفاظ میں سے دو کا صلواہ اور صوم کا ترجمہ نماز اور روزہ کردیا گیا اور زکواہ / حج کا نہیں کیا گیا کیوں۔ کیا ترجمہ کے لئے متبادل الفاظ ختم ہوگئے تھے۔ اور اگر صلواہ اور صوم کا بھی ترجمہ نہ کیا جاتا تو کیا لوگ ان کو سمجھ نہیں سکتے تھے۔ جس طرح حج اور زکواہ کو سمجھ لیتے ہیں اور عمل بھی کرتے ہیں۔
Mankind has the Zikr/Remebrance/Reminder of Allah within themselves and this is guarded/protected by Him. Whenever Allah’s ayats are recited they identify and confirm authenticity of it from within themselves as is they know, though it is just a reminder of the truth to them. The Sects has always been in existence not that they originated afterwards. Further it is mentioned that Prophet Ibrahim pbuh was a Hanifa Muslim belonging to the same Sect/Shia/Group as Prophet Noah pbuh. All verses of Quran reminder for us which we already know but Allah reminding us through His verses and also Allah is protector of that reminder-all sects were exist before Quran our we belongs to Muslim sect and Allah named us Muslim and Ibrahim PBUH and Nooh PBUH him were from Muslim sect as per Quran verses

Every human in this world knows through their surrounding peoples, men written religious books a very small portion of knowledge from the ALkitaab and quran reminds peoples in every generation through messengers in proper and correct way.
