Great well constructed video on ring psychology. I actually agree with everything you’re saying & everything you said makes sense. For example, the Canadian Destroyer has been extremely devalued, undermined & meaningless. Same with the superkick. One problem with spotfests is that they could potentially desensitise wrestling fans by spamming all these insane moves & no selling, which can be an overkill.
You can say the exact same thing with wwe the problem with the constant story telling it’s completely watered down the standard of there matches at times there’s very little innovation n cool spots. N this whole lack off selling is overkill it’s one move n if u pay attention he does sell eventually it’s just a last dish effort, Respect to you but u stick to this old school style of wrestling ur career is not gonna go far you have to stand out shock ur audience with an explosive move set. What am overall trying to say tell a story in an action packed athletic match best of luck 🤘🍀
Another thing how many times do u see a match on raw or smackdown only be 10 mins of under n doesn’t deliver, how often does a ple match not deliver quite frequently. AEW when it comes to the pro wrestling matches destroys WWE it’s a handicap match at times. Iam Enjoying wwe at this moment too especially with Cody’s run as Champion, big Fan of Jacob Fatu n the cm punk vs Drew McIntyre has been very good but when it comes down to their matches they could be good but there’s a strong chance it won’t. Wwe’s matches at times are all the same you won’t get a technical master class between a Bryan Danielson and ZSJ or swerve vs Osprey leaving it all in their match at Forbidden Door setting the standard of what a match should be in this day of age
@@DECYTAif swerve and Ospreay “set the standard” at forbidden door then the business is doomed. Moves mean nothing anymore, matches have no psychology and that “style” is going to kill the business!
@@joetalkswrestling I look forward to more! To add to your video, I often hear about the general premise that "Heel can't outwrestle the Face", but I absolutely adore subversions to this. The Monster Heel/Better Than You Heel like Gunther and Kurt Angle. They rarely cheat and simply beat you by being that good, yet they generate mega heat for that one Sami Zayn type character to finally overcome and cash out at some PPV.
Going to watch all of his awesome matches and one day he wii be world champion one day both on raw and smack down because find out his was MLW world champion the longest run watch is just awesome bruvs
