I heard that FF17 will be in black and white, in a sad desert with a flippy hair emo character, and then transition into a colorful Hiroyuki Ito game with Uematsu playng Somewhere Over the Rainbow. And then emo dude cuts his hair, and takes off the 10 belts he's been wearing, and gives his gothic armor to a neaby homeless man. At least that's what the leakers tell me. Lol
Gosh I am super excited to see what Creative Studio 3 has in store for the future! All I can do is speculate, and I honestly can't wait to hear more!🙌🏽🤩💞 Thank you for covering the interview NSP!❤ I am also struggling with the new rebranding from CBU3 to CS3.😅 It will take a while to get used to!
16 was the best received mainline FF game in well over a decade lol. It may not have been perfect but the overall reception was deffo leaning more towards the positive side
Hey NSP something bothers my mind. We know CBU3 is big Fan of FF5. I think that the Battle System from FF16 would also be perfect for a FF5 Remake to swap between jobs like we did with the eikons . One time when i see Yosi--P i want to ask him what he thinks about that idea.
I'm kind of hoping that a different team is working (will work?) on Final Fantasy XVII. I love XVI but I'd prefer something a little more traditional. I'd be happy with a game the builds on or takes inspiration from Rebirth. I'm actually hoping it's new IP. As long as SE learned lessons from Forspoken. I'm actually a fan of it but I'm not blind to it's flaws.

FF they need to make it turn based battles again with a fleshed out world, story, and combat mechanics. Look at how baldurs gate stuck to its guns and made a really good game in an unpopular genre in recent times. there’s a huge demand for a AAA JRPG that no real game fills the need for (in the case of 16, how many character action games are out there that it has to compete with?). SE for too long has chased western gaming trends with failure time and time again. Many people want an amazing strategic JRPG with AAA production. The only real JRPGs that exist now either are pixel art or anime aesthetic. FF has always been the one to push graphics but it can’t rely on that and abandon the gameplay style that they built their fan base on
They need to make their own game. Trying f to make this lame action trash combat it sucks. They succeeded with ff12 combat WHY they left that direction is beyond me, horrible horrible decision. And remakes story? I was kinda defending the changes, naw, they fckd this thing up bad. Go figure. Havnt made a decent game since 12 shit even 13 is better than everything they’ve put out after. 16 is not FF, idk wtf it is but it’s not a FF in name only.
The video game industry has become untenable and is headed for a collapse. It's time to start scaling back and making games with more reasonable budgets. I hope Sony and Microsoft didn't forge ahead to a new generation when this one has already pushed the industry to its breaking point.
@NightSkyPrince you forgot the other leaker forgot the name but the one with the profile pic of Silksong did say FF9Remake was ALWAYS MULTIPLAT but he did say it originally started as a Switch exclusive..
I’m not interested in FF9 remake that isn’t on the same scale of Ff7 rebirth. We already have FF9 remastered and it plays great. FF9 did not age poorly at all. So go big or go home. It would be a shame not to flesh out the world and the map of FF9. I’m not saying it should be in 3 parts, but I am saying it should be in 2 and that the experience should about 200 hours.
