Trans cooler is bad in the radiator usually its a pink milky color. Unless someone had poured something in it. Typical problem with the cab monuts on thise. There are upgraded mounts you can get. Mount bolts can be a pain sometimes.
If that was my tractor I would put a 90 on it, and run the muffler to the front along the hood, even with the hood and fasten it to the front guard. I get not running it under the tractor. Fire risk that way. 😊
Don’t you always use your own money? Part wasn’t given to you by VEVOR I assume? You’re not the first to say that. Don’t worry about those little things. 😊 I like seeing your projects. They are interesting. I like that you show what you are doing and not spending time explaining every move before doing it. I like that you just get in and do it. 😁
Intro was good. I like the hefty front tires on the tractor. Nice clouds. We have trails here, if you know what I mean. Note: sometimes the vids are too fast. ty. Keep the vids coming.
to get the top link out remove the load by winding in or out the link. weld them back on ?? they are bolted which is the best way. The 2 bolts hold the clutch on They locate in a grove on the shaft. The shaft on gearbox would be the pinion of a right ang. le drive ,They are like a diff on a vehicle a machine set. You dont need that small bolt the large bolts clamp the clutch on. I would make the exhaust pipe shorter
I think ya did a good job. Ya got some money invested but it will last a long time I'm bettin.. Nice video.. Been following few years now, and am always learning how to do it here on a budget.. Ya don't always have to get new stuff to have what ya want.. almost like a new rig
Hi Dave I'm David and I have a 1986 S1954 Dump truck that looks like it was your trucks twin i got mine about 2 months ago in west Virginia and it had been a west Virginia road dept plow and salt spreader truck in it's better days and I just found your channel today 8/30/2024, i don't know anything about the S1900s and you seem like you know a few things that im currently having trouble with, that's why I'm watching the trailer upgrade video my dad and me bought a new Kubota KX040-4 excavator and 14k trailer and the first time we loaded the excavator it tried to take a ghost ride with dad in the excavator and im trying to make something to fix that problem,
Can you do a video on changing the hydraulic fluids and show what needs to be drained. The manual shows transmission, differential, brake housing, final drives, maybe more, all on the same drawing.
It looks like you do a lot of welding, maybe I'm not telling you anything. I suspect your splitter pieces are made out of special hardened steel. You may need to preheat the metal with a torch, and use special welding rod to get it to stick. We used to have problems welding hardened edges on the cutting edge of a snowplow. Even one of the best union welders they could find; sometimes you have a problem. Great initiative and kudos for putting all your hard work up for us to learn from.
