Such a wonderful actor and talented singer! My favorite role is that doctor on the Russian submarine in Hunt for Red October. It’s a secondary role, but he really made it memorable. Anything he does you can’t take your eyes off him.
I was hypnotized and mesmerized the first time I saw Tim Curry strut and sing in this music video in an intro to The Rocky Horror Picture Show as a 17-year-old girl and I still love him to this day thank you Tim Curry for rocking my teen world
What is it about Tim Curry? He is just so dang charming, we all can’t get enough of him! I know I’m not the only one who went every weekend & still watches The Rocky Horror Picture Show missing that 70’s experience with rice, newspaper, squirt guns, lighters, toilet paper & still knows every word. 🍚📰⛈️🕯️🥳🧤😷🏋️🧻

A lost opportunity. They could've cut in the actual street scenes with the office scenes as almost a dream sequence. As it turned out, what should've been one of the movie's greatest show-stoppers wound up being neutered (despite having three incredible talents performing in it). Bad decision on the part of the director/producers.
I hope that Tim Curry knows in July 2024 how much he still means and how much is adored and revered, as is only the least he deseves. Thank you for all your talent, humour, knowledge, wisdom, and FUN. You are FIRE!
God how I love this man. An utter remarkable joyous, beautiful and delightful human being, who has given so much happiness to myself and others in this life. Bringing such a wondrous light and goodness from within himself to this darkness, with his humor, his voice, his smile, his talent his love and that kind shine from his eyes. Thank you, dear sweet darling and beloved angel, Tim Curry. Thank you for making my life more tolerable and making the world a better place.
In 1980's Portland, they used to show this video every Saturday night before RHPS at the Clinton St. Theater. The crowd had lines and moves to go along with it. Good times.
It's interesting to compare this performance to Kevin Kline's from around the same time. They both put their own stamp on the part, and I don't think it can be rightly said that one was better than the other.
