Latest video to Solar motors yeilded a parameter error. my P6 was set to 10 (describes the wheel size to the computer) and should have been on 12. now my speed reads 52 mph when traveling flat ground at top speed. also replaced the faulty twist throttle with a thumb throttle and I am getting smoother acceleration.
My speed wobble is fixed now that I lowered the bars. I had them on the highest setting and loose. With my weight best I have gotten is 45mph. 270lbs rider.
Thanks for the video i bough my p1 3.0 wanted to give this company a chance its relatively new 3 -4 years inokim has been there since 2009 i bough my son the oxo heavy, fast, long range 68mi and cheaper then 3.0 and pro for the specs i think its worth less then $1000 (price goes up and down randomly) the short range on the 3.0 is a deal breaker that means i have to charge twice after clocking it at 50mph! on smaller battery in other words the scooter is fun to ride im only a little disappointed but hey we only live once !!
Ya so far I have been good now. Odometer is reading 95 miles but scooter as a whole has 120-130 miles. My bars always seem to twist in the stem. I find that odd and I have the clamp as tight as I can make it. I’ll drop a new video here soon with some updates.
i have same issues with my kugoo g booster used 4 times now refuse too charge , lot a message too day from them saying they will give me discount on a 450 pound battery they think am stupid not happening , so look like am have too obtain a scooter from china , had many issues with the from the reid E4 plus , iscooter ix5 , kugoo, MAF 60v scooter, the iscooter i9 as came with no instructions and finaly the one i hate the most the qings wing G5 , dont even get me started on them as a company , i got all my money back all 900.00 pounds and kept the scooter so no one else has too suffer

Solar is a garbage company but they're not stupid. They're selling dumb customers cheap Chinese 2017 design scooters for the past few years if you're stupid enough to buy coil suspension scooters,don't come on social media crying over faults
so glad its working now with minimal issue buddy am close to hitting 100 miles on mine as i only use it for like 11 miles max on journeys so far and i seem to get a bit of dip in acceleration if i hit a pot hole as i start to throttle it is like it knocks a motor off till i fully let go of the throttle the re apply throttle then it kicks back in again but other then that its been good hoep you have a good time with the little ones and stay safe legend
Yes I know that feeling with the throttle. I had that more with the previous throttle or when I hit a bump it would not do dual unless I unplugged the throttle and back in. Always a good time with my girls, gods gift.
Code 02 is the throttle unfortunately the throttle you either pulled it too far. That depends on the sensor for the throttle got messed up. You need a new throttle. That’s what it is.
I wear gloves and helmet. Around the house just my gloves but not doing crazy speeds or roads. However I know the risk that even at a roll can break bones.
bro get rid of this thing. this shit is a death trap and the company is doing shitty ass fixes when you spent a fair amount of money and time researching and feeling like you made the right choice. this is insane. you deserve better then that man wtf
💯 at this point I’m stuck unless I wanted to seek legal. So far the scooter is back up and going. To your point they aren’t cheap and this should be addressed by them and their quality team. I hope the reviews I watched weren’t paid because if so that sucks. Mine has just been honest.
So far seems to be ok. This throttle seems to be less sensitive than the other but we shall see. I have only put about 7-8 miles around the neighborhood on it.
had mine delivered a couple months ago. Came with scratched handlebars and damaged packaging. Missing accessories and one mounting bracket for the display screen. Customer service has been fast and friendly but product feels like a beta test. My twist throttle is the same, it's like an on/off switch, not an accelerator. my speed caps at 40mph (on a slight downhill with a tail wind ) and I also have the rev-then-slow effect when holding the power on. one the other side my state (s. Carolina) wants to class 1500+watt scooters as motorcycles but even with a Manufactures cert of origin they will not allow me to title/register it. If/When I find a path to getting it registered however, I will have legal right to travel on any road/highway in S. Carolina :)
Ya crazy for sure. I really question their quality department. My display has the single holder but they sent the two straps as well but I can’t get them to close and tighten over the bars. I still need to do a battery test. I’ll get some more videos up soon about the scooter.
Thank you for doing this follow up video. I have also been back and forth with Solar customer service about my order after almost 2 weeks of back and forth about when my order was actually going to ship, I decided I would cancel and just go with a different company. But the day I called to cancel, they actually shipped it out. Since their customer service has been good, I decided to stick with them. Now when my Solar p1 pro actually does show up, I’m just hoping it doesn’t have any issues.
So far things seem to be ok. The new throttle is working. Scooter doesn’t seem as responsive or radical as before but up to 90 miles I believe. The screen display kept resetting to 71 miles but now seems to be going. I do see if I ride it a mile or two it resets to the mile before I rode.
best company ever the scooter is brilliant dont take one persons experience as all bad . ive done 100 miles off roading in mud and wet weather it works perfect still
@@mindedchaos wish my purchase was the same. Many others that comment are in the same place as myself. So while you have had a good experience many of us others have not. I for sure would not agree with the best company ever, if it was the quality would be there for us ALL.
I have noticed since it returned from them the back brake is soft almost like I have to pump it. Assuming when the rear brake was making noise from the damages fedex did they adjusted it and probably didn’t bleed it properly. All in all I’ll keep yall updated on how it goes. The scooter is close to 100 miles now given every new display resets the mileage.
Hey how are things going with the scooter?? I just ordered the same scooter but right from the start I’ve already had issues with them. I ordered the on road tires and they told me they didn’t have them in stock. They called me twice literally trying to convince me to get the off road tires and said they would be even better. I said no thank you, I’d like to keep the on road tires. So they said they will have to take off the off road tires and it will be a hassle for the technicians to do so and it will delay my order for over 9 days!!! They also said they have to wait on a tool to come in because they don’t have it. Wtf??? I said that’s fine, I’ll wait. So here I am a week later, no email confirmation, no tracking number, only have the receipt. At this point I want to just cancel and go with another company, but I still want to give them a shot because they had good customer service.
So far I’m back up and going now. I would take the delay. If you paid for a product get what you ordered just how I feel when I ordered my scooter I wanted it to perform as advertised on their social media platforms but I haven’t had luck. The tool could be the tool set they send when they ship the scooter. I received hex tools and a wrench. They won’t provide any data unless it’s ready. Normally with my parts once we confirmed in email what I was getting the next day or same day I would get confirmation. It sounds like they don’t have the scooter ready and wanted to ship you what they have. I know there has been a delay with displays, tires, ect. To be honest you still have time to cancel and go with another option if you like. I have been delayed with making another video due to work, school, family time and weather in Dallas. Soon I’ll make another video giving a through update on a 60-90 day review.

@@EcklesWorld I could be riding and it just cuts completely and have to turn it back on. I’ve also noticed the battery setting keeps going to 36 which is should be 52. I spoke with Solar and they will send out a new display and hopefully it sort it out. I will check your other videos. Thanks for the reply.
@@bigzybinc ya mines been a pain since the day it arrived. I haven’t had it just cutoff but I did have where in dual motors it was just doing one. Tried multiple controllers, multiple displays. Eventually sent the scooter back to solar they found no issues ironically sent it back and it was broke. I have since replaced the throttle it seems to be ok but I have noticed my mileage is resetting lol. My platform lights no longer work and just waiting to see what else can go wrong.
sorry your going through this bro i got mine like 3 weeks ago and i love it i really hope it gets sorted so you can enjoy it but i bought mine in the uk and i know there slight differences i would 100% go with thumb throttle keep safe brother

I was thinking about going with the same exact solar scooter model but I decided to pull the trigger on a different scooter instead. The way that they are treating their customers is crazy and if you look on their RU-vid channel they respond to every comment in such a nice and polite way. That particular scooter model is not cheap I know because I was eyeballing it myself they need to take better care of their customers this is sad.
💯. I based my purchase off RU-vid reviews ect as well. They are quick to respond via email no issues there. It’s just been a pain that since the day the scooter arrived it was broken and here it is 80 days later and another set of issues. When I request a replacement or refund they are unable to take my used scooter per their quotes.

That happened to my scooter too the twist throttle gets stuck so you have the twist it forward so it can stop revving so I asked them to give me a thumb throttle instead and I never looked back. I'm sorry that this happened to you hopefully they can fix these issues because that is not a cheap scooter to get
Mine I checked that and it’s all normal. I have a RAD electric bike that uses the same twist throttle and no issues. Just waiting on the 2 new ones there sending and I’ll give them a try.
Wow, i really hope that throttle issue gets resolved. Though very time consuming i would seek legal action if this doesnt work. I wonder if there is a (No Lemon Law) for electric scooters? Thankfully i havent had any issues with mine. I was going to get a Solar FF 2.0 Black edition but im glad i steered away from them. I got an Inmotion Rs instead. I went to this rider fest event in Apple Valley California which was a Rider Guide youtube channel event and i tried out the Solar EQ and the stem was wobbly and did not feel safe. I did a video test ride and i didnt feel comfortable riding it. I really hope they solve this problem. This is definitely a video all potential buyers should see regarding customer service.
I based my purchase off his review. We had lime scooters at one point around Dallas I think in 2018-19 and so my knowledge was limited. There was a Texas based company I was considering and Segway but Solar seemed like performance wise was better or faster especially with the 2 x 2000 motors. Me being on the heavy side was all counted for. For legal I have an option where if I did decide to proceed my out of pocket cost is 0.00 and I have a big network of resources. I just hate to get that far when they can make it right.
Just get your money back iknow they charge $400 to get a refund but better that then have it sitting in your house broke constant reminder of the bad business with Solar , I decided to keep mines and regret it I would’ve just let them keep the little $400 to get $1500 back instead of loosing all around , f**k that company foreal !

I would share the email conversation but saving that in case I need to seek legal action. They refuse to refund a “used scooter” per there words. They initially refused to upgrade my “used scooter”. They are now assuring the second time with new throttles, 2 for me to try, it will fix the issue.
They are refusing. They are stating the throttle is the issue and they are going to send me 2 new throttles to try. If that doesn’t fix the issue, I can pay for the upgraded scooter and they will cover shipping.
For sure scary. Nothing worse than letting of the throttle and the scooter takes off full speed ahead sport mode gear 3 when your expecting it to slowdown and stop. I have requested a replacement or full refund. Almost 70 days of owning it and it’s been broke 65 days.

@@elijahbennion2465 it can be a hit or miss with any product these days. I made my purchased based upon rider guides review and comments from the page. Sadly I have not had much luck and after 80-90 days of owning I have only rode it 3 full times or 30 minutes with no issues. All others times or days the scooter has been broken or at the repair facility. I can only hope that my experience gets much better but also sharing how my experience has been with the product and communication with solar.

@@Leo.SKDXL05 Hope it’s everything you expect it to be. Yes, be sure to document, picture, video from the box arriving, unboxing, setting up, turning on, and just riding. I have no complaints on the response time from their email team/person. Phone I only had luck 1 out of 4 calls. So far seems ok aside from my miles resetting back to 58 and my platform lights no longer working. I’ll keep everyone updated here soon.

I have only been able to ride 2 times in the last 50 days. It’s broken and at their repair facility. You can check our other videos for the progress and how everything has transpired.
I am just doing my part and keeping others informed. I am disappointed to pay for a product that I can’t use as advertised. All I can do is document phone calls, emails, conversations in case I have to go a different route. I’m sure they don’t have my channel but with growth and exposure we can get it out there. I want to use the product that I paid for.
