Thank you for doing this follow up video. I have also been back and forth with Solar customer service about my order after almost 2 weeks of back and forth about when my order was actually going to ship, I decided I would cancel and just go with a different company. But the day I called to cancel, they actually shipped it out. Since their customer service has been good, I decided to stick with them. Now when my Solar p1 pro actually does show up, I’m just hoping it doesn’t have any issues.
So far things seem to be ok. The new throttle is working. Scooter doesn’t seem as responsive or radical as before but up to 90 miles I believe. The screen display kept resetting to 71 miles but now seems to be going. I do see if I ride it a mile or two it resets to the mile before I rode.
@@stilljustaguy I haven’t done a video in a bit on it but the quality is sub par. The steering shaft moves, front springs are stiff and cheap, mileage doesn’t add correctly, platform lights are broke. It still runs, I think odometer reads 112 miles now but should be close to 250.
I have noticed since it returned from them the back brake is soft almost like I have to pump it. Assuming when the rear brake was making noise from the damages fedex did they adjusted it and probably didn’t bleed it properly. All in all I’ll keep yall updated on how it goes. The scooter is close to 100 miles now given every new display resets the mileage.
Latest video to Solar motors yeilded a parameter error. my P6 was set to 10 (describes the wheel size to the computer) and should have been on 12. now my speed reads 52 mph when traveling flat ground at top speed. also replaced the faulty twist throttle with a thumb throttle and I am getting smoother acceleration.
Thanks for the video i bough my p1 3.0 wanted to give this company a chance its relatively new 3 -4 years inokim has been there since 2009 i bough my son the oxo heavy, fast, long range 68mi and cheaper then 3.0 and pro for the specs i think its worth less then $1000 (price goes up and down randomly) the short range on the 3.0 is a deal breaker that means i have to charge twice after clocking it at 50mph! on smaller battery in other words the scooter is fun to ride im only a little disappointed but hey we only live once !!
Ya so far I have been good now. Odometer is reading 95 miles but scooter as a whole has 120-130 miles. My bars always seem to twist in the stem. I find that odd and I have the clamp as tight as I can make it. I’ll drop a new video here soon with some updates.
had mine delivered a couple months ago. Came with scratched handlebars and damaged packaging. Missing accessories and one mounting bracket for the display screen. Customer service has been fast and friendly but product feels like a beta test. My twist throttle is the same, it's like an on/off switch, not an accelerator. my speed caps at 40mph (on a slight downhill with a tail wind ) and I also have the rev-then-slow effect when holding the power on. one the other side my state (s. Carolina) wants to class 1500+watt scooters as motorcycles but even with a Manufactures cert of origin they will not allow me to title/register it. If/When I find a path to getting it registered however, I will have legal right to travel on any road/highway in S. Carolina :)
Ya crazy for sure. I really question their quality department. My display has the single holder but they sent the two straps as well but I can’t get them to close and tighten over the bars. I still need to do a battery test. I’ll get some more videos up soon about the scooter.
I wear gloves and helmet. Around the house just my gloves but not doing crazy speeds or roads. However I know the risk that even at a roll can break bones.
So far seems to be ok. This throttle seems to be less sensitive than the other but we shall see. I have only put about 7-8 miles around the neighborhood on it.
i have same issues with my kugoo g booster used 4 times now refuse too charge , lot a message too day from them saying they will give me discount on a 450 pound battery they think am stupid not happening , so look like am have too obtain a scooter from china , had many issues with the from the reid E4 plus , iscooter ix5 , kugoo, MAF 60v scooter, the iscooter i9 as came with no instructions and finaly the one i hate the most the qings wing G5 , dont even get me started on them as a company , i got all my money back all 900.00 pounds and kept the scooter so no one else has too suffer
bro get rid of this thing. this shit is a death trap and the company is doing shitty ass fixes when you spent a fair amount of money and time researching and feeling like you made the right choice. this is insane. you deserve better then that man wtf
💯 at this point I’m stuck unless I wanted to seek legal. So far the scooter is back up and going. To your point they aren’t cheap and this should be addressed by them and their quality team. I hope the reviews I watched weren’t paid because if so that sucks. Mine has just been honest.
best company ever the scooter is brilliant dont take one persons experience as all bad . ive done 100 miles off roading in mud and wet weather it works perfect still
@@mindedchaos wish my purchase was the same. Many others that comment are in the same place as myself. So while you have had a good experience many of us others have not. I for sure would not agree with the best company ever, if it was the quality would be there for us ALL.
