Yep. Thank god everytime i want to do a dark side run, i ruin it midway because its really painful. Found out i didn't miss anything since this was extraordinarily painful to watch
The only useful companions in this game is mission and iron bucket. Fights in this game are not that hard with some expensive gear and mediocre build, so unless you building Revan as max Intelligence character, mission is very useful.
Given that Sam Maggs is writing for it, and she's renowned for her woke, feminist hot takes for every little thing in videogames, I wouldn't be surprised if Revan becomes non-binary. Sam Maggs is the same person that said that "tea bagging is ACTUAL virtual rape" and loves taunting male Star Wars fans as "Betas" on top of all of her other clear bait. However, I wouldn't be opposed to a female Revan option. Plenty of women like Star Wars too, I'd be all for that option

Useless?? I plugged unique force powers for all my Jedi, and force heal to keep us alive. Trading two jedi for only one is a bad strategic move, especially when Jolee has the most force points out of anyone in the game. Mission and Zaalbar have their own advantages. Some say Mission is shit because T3 has more security, repair and computer use capability? Well, T3 is absolutely hopeless when it comes to demolitions since it's a cross-class skill, collecting mines for free is a fantastic thing to do, and he cannot use stealth at all! And while HK-47 does have more potential in computer use, security, and combat, he gets far less skill points to allocate. Both droids are not helped by your heal powers, either. True, Mission doesn't get much chance to use her skills in the Star Forge, so that's where she wanes in usefulness, but you'll be thankful that she got you all those mines up till then, because that place has Sith all up in your engine! Zaalbar on the other hand can be good at repairs and computers if you plug enough into them. While T3 is better at that, Big Z is much. MUCH stronger. Imagine a Wookie mechanic that can deal up to 30 damage with just one sword when you first meet him, and can you see how painful it was to do a dark side run?! To recap, you kill 4 good characters just to save the only dark side jedi in your party beyond the potential Darth Revan, all of which, mind you, have been completely supportive of you up till now, and one of them can be your girlfriend if you're fem Revan. Another character runs away, leaving you only 4 party members for the endgame. And you've had to do some horrible, possibly soul crushing things to get to that point. It's not just a bad strategic move to kill 4 people that could have helped you, but it was upsetting for me to do so. I don't know how much of a schutta you are to be to enjoy this, but personally, even when I was doing this run, I always made sure to let my party members know how much I appreciated them at every opportunity. I'm not going to be a complete asshole, especially because I don't know that being an asshole to your party members gives you dark side points, and even if it did, there are plenty more options to gain dark side points outside of that. That being said, what are your thoughts? How far is too far for you? How are these 5 not strategically solid companions? Let me know.
Well, I play light side except for a few times just to see! I have Zaalbar up to a 30 strength with strength belt and Dominator Gauntlet using twin Bacca blades! Yes, I use the duplication glitch. Zaalbar is a Beast and I use him and Juhani on the entire Unknown Planet, even inside the temple using that glitch because Jolee is less than useless, and on the Star Forge. Even on Hard, Reven, Juhani, and Zaalbar walk right through everything from Rancors, droids, Sith, and soldiers like they are nothing! Both Jedi with strength belts and Dominator Gauntlets, so they have 20 strength. Sigil/Opari lightsabers against most, Sigil/Solaris when going into areas with lots of Sith. Yes, I use every cheat and shortcut in the book so that I am level 20 before I finish Korriban! I don't even buy HK, I don't do the Sunray trial because I don't like getting a guilty Man off free and I'm already level 20 so why bother. Also don't bother with the Wookie trial. So yes, I don't play fair even doing light side. I do some side quests, even the bounty hunting on my few Dark Side runs.
Also Zaalbaar is such a piece of shit lmao.... So he killed the one girl who gave a shit about him, helped him survive in the undercity of Taris, saved his ass from being sold to Gammorean slavers and showed him some care and love because he had to fulfill his life debt with a guy who treats him like shit.... Like Jesus christ have you no brain of yourself my guy lmao
