+KHMDarkness That would be hilarious. Honestly, there is nothing in the Sith Code which REQUIRES one to kill decent people. Juhani and Jolee, you folks chill out and I can send you back to a neutral planet after Malak is dead. Mission and Zaalbar, you two just stay put and you can join them if I am really so bad. Uh... Carth, I am probably going to destroy the Republic or at least overthrow it... Maybe it would be a good idea for you to run off if you are not on my side. All of that said, the Sith Code is about instinct and serving oneself. Pointless destruction and harshness are not implied at all, meaning that any Sith could still technically be "good". ...And have a beach party.
Yeah but IIRC Carth escapes to the Republic and tries to stop Revan as a fleet commander. Also, I thought he talks about how much more powerful jedi are vs him towards the beginning of the game.
Based on their characters, I always considered Mission to be the most light-side of them all. It's no surprise they respond vastly different to that news
Holy shit I didn't even know they'd throw in an option that brutal into the game. The whole time 14yr old me was just focused on hitting on bastila any chance I got.
It actually gets much darker. You can order Zalbaar to kill Mission and he will obey, though he betrays you on the Star Forge and so you kill him as well anyway.
@@pikaplayz5190 I remember the betrayal occurring at the very beginning just after you open the first door or so but before you face any enemies. I might be off a little on the timeline, but I am certain that I am close.
tbh i'd expect Mission to run away rather than Carth but..... well this was hilarious Carth: You don't have to help the sith Mission, not while i am here... blablabla then he runs 10 seconds later. lol.
What was he gonna do against two jedi, a mandalorian, two droids and possibly zaalbar, running was the smartest thing to do unless he wanted to get obliterated. Better to run off and get the information out that revan is back than die stupidly
Zaalbar equipped for melee is one of the two best companions in the game. The enemy waves on the Star Forge are a piece of piss if you take him and Canderous.
Everyone always says they only bring the Jedi as party members because they’re that much BETTER. But for me, I almost always took canderous - his constitution and treaty injury are the best, so he’s super hard to kill. He’s been clutch so many times
This game is the best compared to modern rpgs even. So many decisions, character builds and more. Although, killing mission breaks my heart. She's so naive and innocent. Although, Candor is a badass. This whole game is just good
“The droids will continue to serve you, Revan - they’re programmed to obey their master.” HK-47 is just doing backflips because he knows this is his chance to slaughter millions again.
@@NekoLilium2012 HK is useless without upgrades. 16 in strength but can't use melee weapons, what where they thinking? And Canderous manadalorian honor bullshit is fucking annoying.
You mean to tell me you didn't manipulate The Wookie and use his life debt to you to make him kill the twi'lek because that's a lot more fun you're really bad Sith
Even being the Sith I wouldn't end at killing innocent people. I mean I can use the dark side but I don't see any point at being maniac and making a useless kills. It's more for psychopath siths
Killing mordin in mass effect 3, he was trying to save the krogan race, but due to my poor decisions the krogans were led by a psychopath, so theyd be dangerous for the galaxy. So i had to kill him, my favorite companion. I felt so bad about it that i couldnt keep playing this game, and started anew from the first one.
I couldn't ever kill Mission. She's too useful for security and computer use...plus those two are my favorite companions in the game. Edit: Called her Vette by accident because of SWTOR.
And loyalty to a Sith Lord can be very rewarding, especially if you can be valuable enough to not be killed when one is enraged...and provided that you do not get too careless.
That's not reasonable kind of ending for Mass Effect story, for any kind of character the only possible solution is to try to stop the Reapers. Another option is to be like Illusive man or Saren, that would be interesting to have as an ending option, but it would be in no way rewarding.
Alright but really, T3 has way better hacking skills and is okay in combat if done right. Mission just doesn't have a lot going for her, she's like that character that tries to be everything instead of specializing. Which, given all your specialists isn't all that useful. I couldn't really understand Zaalbar's character very much. The tones and body language were lost and took away from his already strange story. And his cultural motivations weren't fleshed out soon enough. his stats were shadowed by the Jedi too, so he was mostly useless
You’re objectively wrong…. Mission has some of the highest damage output in the game. She’s the only character that gets max sneak attack. Pair it with a Jedi counselor who is stun and she literally one shots everything in the game.
@@dylanhicks4771 That and if you can't get much demolitions, having her as your bomb squad member is really helpful. She can get a lot of skill points too.
Ciaran Smith there are 5 locations to go to, one is Yavin. Keep visiting the guy there, and at the third or fourth visit, he'll be attacked. Save him to buy the two best colour crystals.
Given that Sam Maggs is writing for it, and she's renowned for her woke, feminist hot takes for every little thing in videogames, I wouldn't be surprised if Revan becomes non-binary. Sam Maggs is the same person that said that "tea bagging is ACTUAL virtual rape" and loves taunting male Star Wars fans as "Betas" on top of all of her other clear bait. However, I wouldn't be opposed to a female Revan option. Plenty of women like Star Wars too, I'd be all for that option
@@bradleypeters6656, there was an option during character customization to play as a lady. But I agree. I fear the remake shall be a vastly inferior story to the original.
@@bradleypeters6656 as soon as I heard Sam Maggs was writing it, I lost what little interest I had. I'd much rather have a remaster of this and sith lords than a remake.
The only useful companions in this game is mission and iron bucket. Fights in this game are not that hard with some expensive gear and mediocre build, so unless you building Revan as max Intelligence character, mission is very useful.
Yep. Thank god everytime i want to do a dark side run, i ruin it midway because its really painful. Found out i didn't miss anything since this was extraordinarily painful to watch
This is so fucking evil dude wtf Where did this type of writing go comparsd to todays game???? I literally couldn't figure this out at all and im on dantooine. It took me negative time to figure out that Bode or in any other games that Mfer is going to betray us. I couldn't see this coming at all
I thought it was hilarious that you can kill mission. I thought she was sooo annoying but cute at the same time. And The wookie was useful, I never wanted to kill him. I enjoyed killing all the one though, I couldn't stand him.
I'd love if we could play Kotor after you beat game especially me who just finsihed DS ending and I'd love to be greeted wherever I go as Darth Revan and to search for Carth so i can slay him as well
Well, I play light side except for a few times just to see! I have Zaalbar up to a 30 strength with strength belt and Dominator Gauntlet using twin Bacca blades! Yes, I use the duplication glitch. Zaalbar is a Beast and I use him and Juhani on the entire Unknown Planet, even inside the temple using that glitch because Jolee is less than useless, and on the Star Forge. Even on Hard, Reven, Juhani, and Zaalbar walk right through everything from Rancors, droids, Sith, and soldiers like they are nothing! Both Jedi with strength belts and Dominator Gauntlets, so they have 20 strength. Sigil/Opari lightsabers against most, Sigil/Solaris when going into areas with lots of Sith. Yes, I use every cheat and shortcut in the book so that I am level 20 before I finish Korriban! I don't even buy HK, I don't do the Sunray trial because I don't like getting a guilty Man off free and I'm already level 20 so why bother. Also don't bother with the Wookie trial. So yes, I don't play fair even doing light side. I do some side quests, even the bounty hunting on my few Dark Side runs.
