Based in the Rhondda Valley.. I have now entered my 2nd childhood (aka 50’s) and a lover of healthy eating, nature, hiking, running, biking and van life!
I ran 33 miles and my other half just said you're not doing that again..... mind you I almost fainted on the drive 😂🤣 Now gripped to Run Walk Crawls posts I will be with you all by 2025
@@2spoons Do it!! Yeah, when I finished I said never again, but a day later I’m thinking “what next?!”. Definitely recommend this route. It’s stunning and nice and easy to navigate too.
These buildings are from the 2nd world War period and were used for the construction of ammunition and bombs. My now deceased mother and her best friend (from Rhonda and Maesteg) used to work in these making the munitions for the war. they developed lung disease from working with the explosives. Never compensated by the MOD. Thus the railway track is present at one of the entrances for moving the munitions out when completed. Any nuclear bunker component came after this.
Thanks so much for the info and so sorry to hear your Mum was made ill from working here. The chap in the video’s Nan worked on the munitions in Treforest and also developed lung problems from it.
wow, impressive pictures of the sea. We were at this 1. spot with the ruins around May. Video follows 😉. Happy belated birthday 🎂. Thanks for taking us with you, we love your country and your coasts, you had a great time😀. Cheers, Jules and Ulli 🤗🌈
Thank you! 💕 The Pembrokeshire coast is pretty special eh? Just a shame that they charge so much for parking. This trip we did manage to find a few freebies though!
thx for the vid,you look like you had fun because of the weather not despite.apparently the first cave you went in has now been filled with asylum seekers
What a lovely couple. I caught Leon’s name, but not the lovely lady.. You gave us a really good view of the rugged Scottish countryside……shame about the midges. All the best, and i’m looking forward to your next vlog. Alan. 😊
Thanks so much! A beautiful comment to wake up to! My name is Lizzie. I’m working loads at the moment so it may not be until September before we get another video out now but we might be able to squeeze a hike in sometime before then. So glad you liked it and thanks again! ❤️
Cool,we don't get many squirrels in the back garden but we do get 5 deer in the back fields nearly every day,I have a couple of deer videos on my channel.
Quite a crowd there .. great video. Up here in Whitley Bay, the tradition is to swim (well .. splash about really) on New Year's Day. I've just filmed it about an hour ago .. the water was f f f freezing. HAPPY 2023 TO YOU !
Thank you so much! Yes, hell of a crowd and a wonderful atmosphere, and yes, I didn’t see any swimming at the Porthcawl one either, just lots of splashing. Great tradition isn’t it! I’ll check out your video.. Happy 2023 to you too!
Thank you! We had wetsuits on so we were quite warm apart from our feet! Definitely recommend it though, it was an amazing experience! Wishing you a wonderful New Year too!
NUTing but love for my little back yard squirrels. I set a record today as I had 5 around me in the yard today as I was dropping peanut splits for them around me. Surprised to see such youngsters at this late in the season since I live in a cooler place. Gotta make them a squirrel house soon to make sure I keep them out of trouble.
We had several different ones and one would come in the house and take nuts from my hand but then they all vanished for a couple of months. So chuffed to have them visiting again! Hopefully she’ll bring her babies!
nice tasty old girl. a real motorcycle tbh. No fuel injection snatching your neck off and a proper comfortable seat and suspension. have you still got her??
Yep, and the Thunderbird too... They're completely different animals though! Will have footage of our trip on our Thunderbird to the Triumph Factory up on the channel soon!
Thank you! Can't wait to have another go this year! Off up to the Triumph Factory in Hinkley for a few days in May for starters. It's my partners "special" Birthday, so we've treated ourselves to accommodation to ease us into it!
