I played this as femshep. And Im pretty sure she shares rhe same voice as the default voice of the saint row MC. So this whole dlc just felt like a friggin saint row mission.
You what's really sad and I wish was addressed more in this game The geth in the third game are portrayed as innocent victims of the morning who did not sought to kill for killing's sake but for survival snd yet here they are comprising everything they believed in just to be accepted Changing everything they held dear They're using reaper codes to improve themselves even though the reason they split with the heretics was that they didn't want to accept handouts from the reapers and be enslaved Their megastructure where no Geth would truly be alone gets obliterated and now they're forced to give up their hive minds for individuality something they category do no want
Compare this with the shitty final mission in ME3. That said, destroying the base is in fact idiotic. Not in game, where the ilusive man is a moron but had the plot been better, the collector base would've been the thing that could've gave data about the reapers weakness
I liked this talk between Shepard and Javik because it shows that the romance option is the reason why Shepard would fulfill their destiny in beating the reapers
Loved Saren as a villain, but he was so manipulated and already being indoctrinated by Sovereign, but Saren sees no point in fighting the Reapers but Shepard is willing to do everything to stop them forever
Garrus: the Doc got me chocolates! Tali: my boyfriend never gets me chocolates... [glares at Shepard] Shepard: i promise i will find you special chocolates
Crazy how bioware designed all those pretty women across 3 games but the vast majority of men chose the one character you cant even see the face of. She is the best
Not me rewatching this as a cleanse because even though this is the ending I got, out of morbid curiosity I looked up the worst possible ending and scarred myself, and keep having to remind myself that everyone's okay in my run cause I haven't gotten far enough in 3 to see any of them yet 😅😅😅😅
That small smile when Gerrel finally listens to him. That just tells you that the anger in his speech came from a place of love; he genuinely cared about the Quarians, and was tired of their blind actions.
@@zitr0n This. For the first time in a long time, he freed himself from the control of the Harbinger and gained his will (if collectors have a will, ofc) only to be disintegrated the next moment. :(
I think the hardest part of this is in her loyalty mission, she argued to me that its hard to have no planet but we argued its better to have a home, now the plot was reversed and Tali considering you her Home was super sweet.
To this day, I'm still kind of annoyed that they didn't actually show tali's face in the end of this scene. It would be great to actually get to see what the Quran look like underneath the mask as a reward.. especially if it was only if tali is your romance partner
Can we appreciate the Reaper for a moment here? There is literally a war going on with Shepard trying to destroy the reapers for good. Yet, the Reaper when Shephard is saying goodbye to Tali is like: "Dont worry bro, take your time."
