Completely agree with your comments on fury. I think he knows his boundaries and will get back on track in the coming weeks. Let’s hope for the best version of him in the rematch
The problem with PPV is that boxer’s have come to expect $ which are neither realistic, nor sustainable. A reset is most definitely needed. The alternative consequence is that the bubble simply bursts.
Interesting insight into boxing supporter behaviour in 2024: Here we have Ade, rubbing shoulder with most of the sport’s high rollers, yet still bringing content to his YT channel, always upbeat and with positive energy. On the flip side we have his buddy gman - recently [almost bizarrely negative]. Yet the latter’s videos are receiving more views. Which [for me, at least] is a worrying reflection…
Ad'z, I know your a very busy man, but you gotta use dazn to boost up subscribers, smash out that content, make videos of the journey and the build up etc.
Never have I ever agreed with a boxing commentator quicker than with Ade in the first 2 mins of this video. Team Ben, all the way. He likes his mum and anime, let him be who he is, The Surgeon ✨️
That’s what I never understand if you’re an amateur standout just go for it you could fight for a world title in your first fight if you’re an elite amateur! But no doubt they will have him fighting. A bunch of nobodies for another two years
Ben Whittakers been ducking extreme martial artist Combat master Olisa Eric Ossai since last year though hes been challenged multiple times to boxing match
For Ben Whittaker in this order/ steps : 1.Zach Parker 2.Lyndon Arthur 3.Shakan Pitters 4. Dan Azeez If he beats those guys then: 1. Callum Smith 2.Anthony Yarde 3. Joshua Buatsi Beats these guys then: Benavidez- beat Benadidez then Bivol is he is still around- Then a super fight with Bivol.
Ben is a class above all those you mentioned. He schools that lot, seriously on a different level… He is well and truly going to punish this next opponent, Ben will then showboat and make a fool of this guy. Super talent, love watching him fight and interview… Freakish fighter this bloke …
Ade talking about how Ben is hated compared to past ones, I agree with him there, many forget how hated most of the haters favourite boxers were back in the day, there is a documentary on RU-vid somewhere filmed during the time of Roy Jones Jr just after he was DQ’d va Griffin and was on his comeback and the hate towards that man before that loss and up until his chin started getting checked was far greater than any boxer before or after haha
@ ADE OLADIPO I hope so mate, I just hope it’s not when he’s close on 40 and been knocked out a couple of times, we need to start loving these guys early on and certainly where their at their prime ;-)
The biggest issue with Whitaker is I’m not sure about his power. All the boxers that he’s referenced to, Roy and Naseem for all their brilliance had one touch bang power, and I don’t know if Whitaker has the power against the elite guys.
And that my friend will be his complete undoing - top fighters all have power and he ain't got any'- bullshit will be exposed by British title level - buatsi - yarde - smith-azeez - even Richards would batter him easy
Ben will end this fight whenever he wants. Ezra has wished for something that he will regret. I am also firmly in the Ben Whittaker fan club. A very ineffable talent!
The whole broadcast model feels wrong. With Sky, at least you can buy a day pass if you really like a specific card. TNT don't offer one. And you can't dip-in with DAZN as they pull all sorts of dirty deeds to make it difficult to get out of the 'rolling contract' again (shameful and pathetic). So currently I pay for PPV and occasional Sky nights. It's too annoying signing up to one of the three. The £50 a month idea sounds good but you still need to be able to pay-by-view, many of us have a social life at the weekend.
I hope so... Barrera will always be an inspiration to me for what he'd done to Naseem. Whittaker, as talented as he may be, is a piece of shit and i will enjoy the day he gets what's coming to him.
Absolutely nailed on - the last opponent would hav beaten him if he'd believed in himself and ignored the hype - he behaves like naz but without the absolute top level skill and power
I don't get why you say people will watch him to see him get chinned like it's a good thing, those people probably won't be the ones paying to watch him with piracy being so prevalent. People are stingy, they're not gonna support a fighter they don't even like.
@@christopherstuckey2433 some fighters play the bad guy to get more attention, the assumption is that people will be willing to pay to watch their fights just in the hopes to see that fighter lose. It used to work brilliantly for fighters like Floyd Mayweather, if you wanted to see him finally lose you had to buy the fights. But with the rise of online piracy people can still watch these fighters without paying a penny, being hated just isn't going to be lucrative as it used to be.
Yeah it's annoying to me aswell when fighters use other people's nicknames as well especially famous ones. Paul Butler and Shannon Courtney using 'Baby faced Assassin' annoyed me because that is Marco Antonio Barrera's nickname and should only be his.
Grvosdick doesn't even seem ready. In surprised your most excited for that one. Even admitted David beat him up. This fight is probably the most predictable lmao. All love tho
You can co-opt a song as popular as Kanye West's but if it was a more unique walk out music then it is different. But you can't claim to own the walk in music to all of the lights.
