TYSON FURY LOST HIS UNBEATEN RECORD TO OLEKSANDR USYK...WHAT NEXT FOR HIM #boxing #TYSONFURY #oleksandrusyk / ade_oladipo1 / ade.oladipo email me adeoladipo@hotmail.co.uk
Usyk is already an all time great Olympic gold, world amateur gold, undisputed cruiserweight, undisputed heavyweight, beat AJ twice and Fury once, undefeated. Nothing to prove
I had Usyk as the favourite for this fight by a mile, for all the reasons you mentioned. Fury has been a part timer for 10 years now, and does it for money, Usyk does this for God and his country
Nah, he still gotta face the juggernaut as heavyweight, Joseph parker as well Undisputed comes with, Defending them ibf wbc wba wbo a few times first, don't puss out until then ..
@@wrotedogUsyk has cleaned up and become undisputed across two divisions. Wtf else does he have to prove, there’s no need for him to fight Parker or any other fighter. He’s the best of this generation. Fact.
Ridiculous comment from Ade, Usyk IS AN ALL TIME GREAT. He literally has nothing left to prove, beat everyone from pillar to post and is the king of kings in boxing.
Holyfield has 10 losses from 57 fights. Ignorant comment from Ade, Alec the great has beat everyone put in front of him everyday and twice on sunday in olympics 😂
FURY needs to deal with his loss and also he mocked other fighters after they lost. Constantly mocking them online and talking trash Too bad for him now, fans are roasting him too
@@Ahijah, Because Aj disgracefully called Fury out when he was 28 stone going through mental health problems, and Wilder was even worse by directly throwing low blows at the press conference bringing up Fury’s depression and suicidal thoughts
@@BB-hw8kn stopped klitchko. Stopped Ngannou. Stopped Wallin. Did fury stop any of them? Did aj get dropped in 24 rounds against usyk? Or did fury get dropped in 9? Ajs more elite
@@h.b3119 You're just being either delusional or dishonest when you act as if AJ did better against Usyk than Fury did even though Fury was landing a lot more shots on Usyk than Joshua did and I don't remember AJ comfortably winning any rounds against Usyk whereas Fury won the majority of the early-mid rounds against Usyk
@@qwerty487 casual lol? He was out on his feet round 9 you got amnesia, a guy who coming from cruiserweignt lol he will get stopped if he rematch’s come back to this comment lol
I'm not even a boxer and I could knock someone out with 15 unanswered punches to the chin. So either Usyk has no power which I don't agree with. Or Tyson's chin is absolutely granite.
Slim herky jerky Tyson under Peter Fury would have been undisputed by 2016 or 17. He would have UD'd Wilder/AJ and probably retired by now. John lets Tyson get away with drinking 15 pints a day and telling him hes a real fighting man and no one can beat him. Terrible influence. Don't even get me started on John Fury telling Tyson he was winning when Sugarhill was trying to tell him he was down.
Can he actually make the adjustments now though? I'm not so sure he can get any fitter, especially if he comes in heavier which I think he would need to. Maybe if the rematch happens he needs to come in heavier and just make it a 6 round fight and go all out and try bully him for 6 rounds and try stop him🤷♂️
@@AlTarif It’s important to point out they have Jesus Christ as their head authority. Someone devoted to Christ doesn’t allow the money and fame to get to their head.
@@MartinFernandes-gr7cb "Calzaghe is the longest-reigning super-middleweight world champion in boxing history, having held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) title for over 10 years and defending it against 20 opponents (a record in the division, shared with Sven Ottke) before moving up to light-heavyweight. As his super-middleweight and light-heavyweight reigns overlapped, he retired with the longest continual time as world champion of any active boxer at the time." I'd say he did OK 😂
The irony for me is that I could have seen Fury winning this fight ; if he'd stayed centre ring and boxed behind the jab as he did between 4 and 6 he may well have won. But he got greedy and complacent and thought he could counter Usyk off the ropes. He paid for his complacency and arrogance in a big way...
Fitness wasn't the reason , Usyks fitter than any HW so was always likely to win the late rounds but had Fury stuck to the jab from the first bell he may well have racked up enough rounds to win@@JackTenrec-qk4zp
He got beat by the better boxer ,simple as that. The guy had a 3 stone weight advantage with height n reach to boot. And still lost. To the better boxer.
The more I rewatch the fight, the less rounds I can give to Fury, he got outlanded so much. Only round 4, 5 and 6 at this point, maybe 12 if I'm feeling generous.
I really don’t know what you are expecting, Ade. This WAS the best Fury we’ve seen for a long long long time. He couldn’t have been MORE prepared for this fight. He loses again in the rematch, there’s nothing more he can do. And it wasn’t *that* close. There were several swing rounds, but those can’t be factored in, they cancel themselves out, because they are 50/50 either way. The deciding factor was where Fury got knocked down, and should have been knocked out.
@@dontbewoke he would have learned more in those 2 fights than all the others put together which means he’s more dangerous than ever, and it looks like Joshua will have more longevity than his contemporaries.
People saying it was close it wasn't usyk beat him by 3 rounds then give the extra point for the knock down that should have been a tko usyk embarrassed fury. I said for years fury is just a cherry picker if he fights a top heavyweight he loses everytime it time for people to just be honest even if it means you don't get interviews with certain people. What fury should do is retire I'm sick of his antics he has held up heavyweight division long enough get him gone.
Wouldnt be surprised if Fury retires his probably got North of 200 Million now His chin as clearly gone and going up and down and up and down in weight the last 17 years and drugs and alcohol and all the food he shovels down his gob His only chance is to beg Peter Fury to take him back and rid his dad from his corner his camp everything
Luke has been getting knocked down his whole career by literal journeymen. He has never had a good chin, what he does have is good recovery, and there's a difference. His glass jaw gets cracked, he just someone recovers very, very good.
So are you saying fury could still win without John there ? I think he can win the rematch I don’t think he’ll retire he wasn’t embarrassed just out pointed although the ropes did save him but it wasn’t a wilder type knockout so I think fury would have recovered from it but usyk was just too good on the night
@@user-zr3sb6gz8g Well I don't think it helps having his dad around Nutting people and acting like a child cause that would affect me.. I don't get people saying that's the most Fury has been hurt? Have we forgot Fury/Wilder 1?
Usyk's legacy is already cemented, but I do think it's a bit weird Ade sat in front of Usyk, told him he'd be an ATG if he beats Fury then here, contradicts himself...
The best example of Dad’s in their son’s corner working has to be Joe Calzaghe. They were a FANTASTIC father/son team. That said, Enzo was also Joe’s coach, so I’m sure that made a difference. Like Loma and his Dad.
I don't think we will get it but id love to see Parker vs Usyk as parker has the chin, the hand speed & the cardio to likely keep pace while AJ & fury declined greatly in the later parts. Noone can keep the pace Usyk commands when they are 250+
If I'm Usyk I retire. He doesn't owe Fury anything after he was messed about and wasted months in the first negotiations a couple of years ago which ironically ended after Fury refused a rematch clause being inserted. It would also serve Fury right after he denied Usyk's friend and countryman his contracted rematch with his antics all those years ago
Great video Ade. You fully deserve your job with DAZN. One of the most balanced pundits out there. Wish the same could be other other boxing channels that only spread hate and appeal to fanboy mentality
This the Ade we love to see back on the green chair!!!! But always super proud to see you especially post fight you were first up there man!!!!!!! Big up Ade!!!
Undisputed heavyweight championship fight will ALWAYS be bigger than any other fight if you care about the sport and not personalities. Whoever wins that is THE number one of all the sport. Weight classes exist for a reason. Whoever is undisputed at heavyweight is very rare and very special
So because 1 judge was crooked enough to give Fury an undeserved win on scorecards, he should go for a rematch? Sure, it wasn't a landslide victory, but to give Fury even 5 won rounds is generous with swing rounds. I would like to see the rematch, as the fight was fantastic, but Fury was such a dick before the fight, that Usyk should give him at most 70/30 splits the other way around this time.
Ade credit where it is due. You are an excellent presenter DAZN have spotted an incredible talent in you. I must say I’m a little concerned about John Fury getting the blame for the loss. I believe EGO alone caused his failure. I think you are right when he looks back at the tapes he will see clearly where he went wrong. Look at the difference in the Three Wilder Wars. No ego complete focus no messing around. Some judges really hate showboating.
The fact that this was the first time this century that ALL the HW titles were on the line in one fight, that alone made this the biggest fight of the century. The heavyweight division is THE division in Boxing, it wasn’t really about who was fighting, it was just a bonus that it was two of the best of this era that were fighting for undisputed.
Thayts boxing biggest problem. One guy losess and everybody dishes him like garbage. It was super super fight and close fight. Great respect to both fighters.
Was it close though? The scorecards had it close but fury really only took maybe 4 rounds and the ref should have stopped it in the 9th. If it had been the other way round, the ref would have stopped it. If the ref does the right thing in the 9th then this is a demolition job.........
Agreed - lots of people trying to launder it into a 'close fight' but you're spot on. This wasn't a close fight at all, 8-4 Usyk if we're generous to Fury
It was a close fight. Not much separating either man in some rounds while Fury looked in control before the 8th. Had it not been for the 9th, the fight would have finished a draw and nobody would have complained.
@@MartinFernandes-gr7cb 😂 If that fight had finished a draw after Usyk winning the first 3 and pretty much everything 7 onwards then I think plenty would have complained! 😂
@@PoobahUK Rounds 2-3 were fairly close. Many scored those to Fury. I had the early rounds even, middle rounds to Fury and Usyk taking control at the latter rounds.
@@MartinFernandes-gr7cb You obviously saw a different first three rounds to me. I couldn't see anything from Fury in those first 3 rounds that convinced me he'd done enough to take any of them. Usyk on the other hand was constantly getting point scoring shots to the body, applying the pressure etc. 4-6 Fury switched it up and took those rounds but I can't see how he takes the first 3.
If some people took their Fury hate goggles off for a second, they'd confess that the fight was close BUT the deserved winner won. A classic that i'd LOVE to see again. People embarrassing themselves by saying 'Fury got schooled' etc...
If we look at Usyks resumé we need to look at what he did at cruiserweight as well. He defeated all the best cruiserweights to become undisputed in the golden age of cruiserweights. Like his win over Bredis is might be the best cruiserweight fight in terms of quality (Bredis is one of the greatest ever in the division). Other than Bredis he defeated Glowacki, Hunter, Gassiev (he was active at the time), Huck, Bellew. His resumé is fantastic
There are some positives Fury and his team can take from the fight. I was surprised to see Fury throw more punches than Usyk. Spot on analysis from you as usual!
If the Fury rematch doesn't happen I'd like to see Usyk active and get two or three solid defenses under his belt. Uysk-Parker would be a good fight to make.
I think Tyson should call Mike. Mike has a special affection for him and I always believe that they are in some ways very similar. Both have had mental issues and both have suffered devastating defeats. If anyone can lift him up, than it is Mike Tyson. I mean he was named and inspired by the great Mike Tyson❤️
I hope Usyk walks away, like he’s completed boxing, he’s done undisputed cruiserweight in 15 fights, and undisputed heavyweight in 6 fights. He deserves to walk away. And fury is awesome too, like he’s abused his body, he will be 36 if he fights the rematch, all the wear and tear and punches to the head, he really is a freak of nature. To still move like that at his age is incredible!!
I don’t see the rematch happening Ade. Why would Fury risk another loss on his record and ruin his legacy? Because in my opinion he will lose again. Usyk is just too good for him. He’s already a very rich man. Would love him to fight Joshua
Usyk is purifying the division by taking out Fury, and hopefully does the same IF Fury wants the smoke again, or Usyk doesn’t retire (which I think he should on this high)
I just couldn' t imagine how these two would look in the ring together. Even after watching it, it somehow seems surreal. Both did well, Fury redeemed himself as a fighter for me, but hopefully the antics stop now. Usyk looked so small, but he willed the victory into existence.
Might I suggest that (1) the rematch be deferred by agreement (step aside $$); (2) Usyk fight Hergovich to keep the belts unified; and (3) Fury finally fights Joshua for a load of $$ & title of heavyweight King of Great Britain? They could still have their rematch in 12 months. Please, someone make this happen.
Biggest fight of this era. And, didn't disappoint. Mayweather vs Pac was too late in their careers and the fight itself disappointed. GGG vs Canelo scorecards disappointed and felt fixed.
Have to say Ade you are one of the only objective channels I see around. Hatman and Gman both so emotional you would think Fury stole their money😂. Definitely agree about John Fury in the corner, he’s too overbearing but lacks the experience. If he still had Peter in the corner would stand a great chance in the rematch
Id like to see AJ v Fury. AJ handled Ngannou, Usyk and Wallin much better than Fury did. They should both take the money for the big fight we all want to see.
The thing that baffles me is that Usyk never appears to be hitting that hard. He throws a lot of arm punches, but he must generate enough power to cause fighters to slowly break down.
We must remember because of Fury's eye injury he really didn't do a lot of sparring. Also remember all sugar hills fighters have lost this year . So sugarhill need to be replaced. Sugar hill is the big problem here. Also remember Fury's last fight his dad wasn't in his corner then. In the last year all sugar fighters have lost
I’m a huge Usyk fan, but when he was saying how he will fight, I was like surely he’s joking and just mind games but then he actually came out and did what he promised haha
In fact Beterbiev is a Dagestan born and lives in Canada, Bivol is a semi Kyrgyz/ Moldovan and lives in US… The last real Russian was Sergey Kovalev, but even he lives in US😂
Breidis was Usyk's toughest fight. I'm interested in the rematch but see it going the same way. I was very impressed by old inactive Breidis as well. In his prime he beats Opetaia.
I don't know about a rematch man if Usyk has a better plan around avoiding the right uppercut what else has Fury got? He didn't seem like he has the legs to come forward and pressure Usyk, you could see a huge difference in foot speed in round 6 when Usyk was backing away.
Tyson and AJ should compete for second best. Usyk should walk away as the greatest heavyweight fighter of this era as he was nearly robbed despite it not even being close.
The only rounds you could conclusively give to Fury were 4-6 ; I really don't think the fight was that close , I had it by 3 to Usyk and that was probably being generous to Fury.
Fury not capable of beating Usyk anymore, Usyk got his number now, but for goodness sake get that John Furry out of the dressing room and everywhere else is Son is, send him back to Caravan & Ponies.
I’d retire if I was Fury, he took a beating, and there’s more beatings to come. Tbf Tyson wasn’t always up for some of his fights like Wallin and Ngannu, but he was up for Usyk and still beaten, and almost knocked out. If you’re going to take ten more fights as you told Michelle Joy Phelps, you are going to have to stay focussed every day not just in camp, if not I honestly believe you could take some more beatings. I also believe Joshua knocks Fury out now, Joshua looks much fresher than Fury. I believe Kabayel gives Fury problems too. Thanks for all your hard work through the past 12 months Adie and HAPPY NEW YEAR
Fury's not the A side anymore, no 0 no Lineal champion. Fury suffered like Wilder, fight poor opposition and get found out he'll never want to fight AJ.
